I am still really pushed for time, got the 3 DGS's for another week - hope they will go home soon...as I foolishly said I would have them week of the 12th Aug - yes I am certifiable, off to see if I can catch up with some of the forum posts and perhaps the hair dye!

Hi all. Jean - try and take some time out for yourself! You sound like a whirlwind! The boys Mum is very lucky to have you, but I do think you are certifiable volunteering another stint in the heat of August!! Here's a link to a Jelly Baby skittle pattern http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=2052. Hope it is suitable.
Thanks to all of you for your updates. I can only add two hats and one pair of booties for this week. I'm still hoping to knit a few more things for the baby due in August. I just wish I could have more than an hour to sit down in the evenings, but it just doesn't seem to work out! I'll update some time tomorrow, I expect. I have some errands to run in the morning, now that my car is legal under French insurance! Oh, the freedom - as long as I don't get lost!
Chalky - My Memory and Friendship squares were posted yesterday morning - I hope they get to you soon. The post from here to the UK is surprisingly good - well, it has been so far!
I hope you are all having good weather. It's lovely here today.
Well, off to do some more work on DH's accounts - will take another day, I think, to get them finished because they are so so boring!

Mioliere - have done about 4 hours ironing today (1.5 baskets done - only 2 Ikea Bags left!!!!!) - its my own fault whilst it was hot I just could not face it then it gets out of hand - Ive sent it all over the house to see if I could loose it but alas no - woke this morning and thought I really had get on with it - once the F1 was over hubby took down the ironing board and said no more today - I was not going to argue with him!!! - but you were right it has made me feel better about getting some done

I am wondering if anyone is interested in doing some fundraising football cards for me, Which you sell each square for £1 and when the card is full you split half to the winner and the other half comes back to me for PREEMIESUK
These will help alot with the postage funds so we can get more parcels out to the hospitals.
i know workplaces like to do these and also the local pubs.
Please let me know if you would like a card and i will send it to you
Thankyou
shelley

Shelley: That sounds like a great idea - unfortunately I don't see enough people to get anyone to participate. However, once I get over all these blinking July birthdays I'll come up with some other way to contribute
Just had a sort through of all the stuff I have ready to send to you:
