Hi all. Jean - try and take some time out for yourself! You sound like a whirlwind! The boys Mum is very lucky to have you, but I do think you are certifiable volunteering another stint in the heat of August!! Here's a link to a Jelly Baby skittle pattern http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=2052. Hope it is suitable.

Thanks to all of you for your updates. I can only add two hats and one pair of booties for this week. I'm still hoping to knit a few more things for the baby due in August. I just wish I could have more than an hour to sit down in the evenings, but it just doesn't seem to work out! I'll update some time tomorrow, I expect. I have some errands to run in the morning, now that my car is legal under French insurance! Oh, the freedom - as long as I don't get lost!

Chalky - My Memory and Friendship squares were posted yesterday morning - I hope they get to you soon. The post from here to the UK is surprisingly good - well, it has been so far!

I hope you are all having good weather. It's lovely here today.

Well, off to do some more work on DH's accounts - will take another day, I think, to get them finished because they are so so boring!

Found these patterns for teeny tiny dolls which might be good for the toy bit of the LH challenge

    http://www.canadianliving.com/crafts/knitting/hello_dollies.php

They look gorgeous but not sure if something this fiddly is for me especially as it involves sewing up!

roamin - no chance of having mine as well:rotfl: - I think you need a few hours off! you are mad yes!

Mioliere - have done about 4 hours ironing today (1.5 baskets done - only 2 Ikea Bags left!!!!!) - its my own fault whilst it was hot I just could not face it then it gets out of hand - Ive sent it all over the house to see if I could loose it but alas no - woke this morning and thought I really had get on with it - once the F1 was over hubby took down the ironing board and said no more today - I was not going to argue with him!!! - but you were right it has made me feel better about getting some done

Well wittered on as usual - hubby working tonight - so son will go to bed - get the jammies on - needles and tea and watch last nights Jonathan Creek - lovvvvverly

I am wondering if anyone is interested in doing some fundraising football cards for me, Which you sell each square for £1 and when the card is full you split half to the winner and the other half comes back to me for PREEMIESUK

These will help alot with the postage funds so we can get more parcels out to the hospitals.

i know workplaces like to do these and also the local pubs.

Please let me know if you would like a card and i will send it to you

    Thankyou

Shelley: That sounds like a great idea - unfortunately I don't see enough people to get anyone to participate. However, once I get over all these blinking July birthdays I'll come up with some other way to contribute ;)

Just had a sort through of all the stuff I have ready to send to you:

    Bunting 100
    Blankets 6
    Gowns 7
    Hats 13
    Boobs 8
    Aaron squares 88
    Angel pockets 2

I've stopped doing the Aaron squares for now as you seem to have a backlog.

Hopefully I'll get these sent off next week but it will depend on how much time I get - Mam has been poorly again and Kathleen has flu so not sure of a lift for a while.

Chalky: Hope MIL is doing ok.
Totals: 30 Buntings, 2 Gowns, 13 Chalky Squares
