Well a really busy weekend with lovely family and thanks for kind wishes for DMIL --- she is Ok -- a bit shaken and definitely in the walking wounded brigade!!

Right here we go . Thank you again for the lovely squares which have arrived already and I have made a start on the sewing up. Please dont worry too much about being absolutely accurate because I pin them first and give them a nudge to make them settle happily !!

Photos are fab! What lovely colours everyone is choosing. The finished blankets are going to look amazing, aren't they? Mine were posted on Saturday morning so I hope they'll be with you soon. It's so good to be part of something like this, and lovely to think that individual contributions will be sewn together to make two big hugs; thanks again for the brilliant idea!

Had a good knit last night and managed to get quite a bit done.
I am going to concentrate on my ripple blanket for a while now, and I really need to use up some of my bits, must sort them out first though they seem to be in a right tangle no idea why :rolleyes::rotfl:

Chalky - I will get the squares off to you either later today or tomorrow, I have done 2 of each I hope thats ok? Looking at what you have already received the blankets wil look stunning when they are finished. Glad your DMIL is a little better now.

Cloudy and looks like rain - ah well, nothing planned for outside today, just attempting to pack (again) DD and DS's stuff for holidays! Only 2 more sleeps....

Have finally gone through all the sewing up I have done, and I have a box full to send to Shelley. The update/totals I add in a sec are my actual complete TOTALS rather than update to my already existing numbers, as I can't remember what I've already added and not - hope this is okay Kathy.

have to sort some easy knitting to take with me, just can't decide on what to do. Probably some vent hats methinks? Any suggestions - needs to be quick and simple and not v complicated as I dont want to have to think too hard!!

I've just worked out that the 667 Innocent Smoothie hats made so far will raise £333 for the Sainsbury's campaign, which is brilliant!
