Pippa - I've just realised that! So sorry - I checked every page for the last two weeks except today's! I shall put it right immediately. I'm really sorry about that.
I've just seen DPixie's update, too, so I shall add that as well.
Only Girl - I do make a hash of it, as you can see by today's!
Mrs Moneypenny - well done to your DS. You must be so proud.
K2tog - I hope your family get better soon.

Well done to your DS :T:T mrsm no wonder you are proud of him he has done really well. The school blanket sounds like a mammoth task, if you could do with a hand, I would be happy to do a few squares
Is it for anything special
k2tog - hope your DS and DH both feel better soon,
Only Girl - hope the weather is kind to you this PM
chalky - I am the same with pets, we had a lovely cross labrador/terrier a real character, and me who never wanted a dog cried buckets and never slept for days when we had to have her put down due to cancer, she was 15 then (10yrs ago) and I said I couldnt go through that again. She was missed so much for years and I think in the end we just got used to her not being here.

Pippa and DPixie - I have just added your totals to the update - sorry I missed them off.
Chalky - thanks once again for suggesting the Memory and Friendship squares; it feels so good to be able to do something like this. We do all come together well at sad and anxious times, as well as the good, don't we?.
The words that everyone has expressed on here since we heard Elaine's sad news, and the spirit with which everyone has wanted to do 'something', has amazed me and moved me to tears. I hope there will come a time when Elaine feels able to rejoin us and read some of the posts. Obviously, the pain will be raw for her right now but I am sure that all our loving thoughts and prayers are bringing some comfort to her.
I remember someone finding this for us when Smoky lost her husband

Mioliere- Sorry Kathy my totals are wrong - I haven't done a DOG COAT - must be somebody else. Also total for ST's is 400 - and I can't make any more as I have no towels, bathrobes, face flannels, beer mats left in the whole house. DH wanted to know where all the towels had gone from the camper - oops - no doubt when the wet winter sets in my dogs will also notice that there is a lack of towelling around here. HA HA. Off to catch up witht he postings then back a bit later.

G’mornin all.
Its grand to visit with a lightness of spirit, bless you Chalky75
Also, thanks to everyone for your sympathy re my widowhood, its almost 6 years now & not a day goes by without me thinking of him, but in a good way!
I’ve done a little square to try out the pattern, its an interesting knit, quite soothing in a strange sort of way, creating the logs stops the plain knitting becoming tedious. The wool I used has turned out to be a bit harsh which is a shame because I love the colours. I’m going to have a rummage & see what else I can root out, if all else fails I’ll have to visit the wool shop – oh dear, what a chore!
Off to see Mum later today, her latest ooops - she got new dentures on Tuesday last week, her previous set being lost some time ago, when I went to see her on Wednesday there she was still toothless – I asked her why – she tells me they’re lost again.
Checked with the staff who’d looked everywhere, checked the laundry room etc. I sat with Mum for a while, sorting out her usual rats nest of wool, then had a brainwave went to her room and located her handbag (behind the chest of drawers??) looked inside and – hey presto – there, in splendid isolation, Dentures!!!!
Hmmm – I do wonder what goes on in her mind these days – bless!
Maytaurus, I hope things are improving for you and yours.
MrsMP – you must be so proud of your DS – well done him!
K2Tog - hope the sicklies get well soon.
Hugs and blessings to all.
Luv

Oh, dear, Pippa (again!) and Jean - have just put right the mistakes and I am so sorry, I really am. I don't know where my brain goes sometimes! I'm also trying to work, but that's not working out either! I have decided that I'm going to take a couple of hours off now. I've had an early lunch because I was starving, and I'm going to put the baby cardi on hold, and start a Memory square. Hopefully, that will help recharge my brain cells.
F1 - I may sound as if I am always busy but sometimes I just run around like a headless chicken, getting nothing achieved! Today is one of those days, I think!

Can I just clarify whether its just the charity things that are added to the list or other knits as well? I am half way though my friendship square but have also done two hats but they were for known babies rather than charity!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1!
