Mrs Moneypenny-- Hope Roger improves and it certainly isnt too costly at the vets.
Best wishes to everyone waiting for ops, feeling poorly and having sad times.

A quick post from me today as I am supposed to be packing. We are off to Eastbourne to spend a few days with an elderly aunt. Wont go into details but I think the bed we sleep on is over 150 years old so not to great but there we go !!

So send lots of best wishes to you all and I am going to take my knitting and crocheting so hopefully will have a big update soon.

    Have good weeks everyone xx
Try and do a good deed every day.

mrs-moneypenny I hope roger is ok. Our rescue dog had to have a lump removed from the back of his neck last month, benign thank goodness, £400 pound vet bill:eek:

HI all. I've been out all day, and I was only going out for the morning! I was invited to stay at my friend's for lunch, then we visited some other friends, and the hours just disappeared.

I'll update tomorrow, when I'll have more time.

Mrs Moneypenny - I hope Roger is improving. That happened to my DS2's cat last year; it cost him £150, for jabs and tablets! Recovery was really quick, so Roger should already be on the mend. Funnily enough, the cat here who seems to have adopted us has been named Rog by my DH! I love to give pets proper names; our last two cats were Dennis and Trevor - and the names actually suited them!

Anyway, off for a shower and a bit of crochet.

    Have a great evening, everyone.

morning all - not having the best of weeks so far. my blanket for my neighbour - decided that i was using too small a hook and the blanket was too long and too heavy - so, eight balls into the blanket, i ripped it all out and started again. then, i ordered the wrong yarn from kemps for my ripple blanket and by the time i realised, (having crocheted up about a quarter of the blanket) i phone them and they told me that they had no more and it was discontinued stock. i could, i suppose find more on the internet, but i was so disheatened i just ripped the whole lot up and decided that i would wait for their new stuff to come in and hopefully find something in that. this ripple blanket is for one of my friends who also knits occassionally, and she is quite picky about what type of yarn she likes, so i have to be very careful. oh well, i will try to finish the first blanket this week and do some knitting in between.

other than that, i believe that we are going to have lovely weather in london today and tomorrow, so its off to the gym and then i will mow the lawn and my big tasks for the day will be done.

    have a wonderful day all

HI all - just about to update - sorry it's taken a long time. Life just gets in the way sometimes. I shall add the two buntings, one hat and one pair of booties that I managed to get done over the last few days.

Mrs MP - glad Roger is feeling better.

    Hope everyone else is well?
