Hi everyone. Maytaurus - what lovely pictures! I hope the weather is good for the festival, and that you find somewhere to park!
One more bunting completed last night for me. I want to make another outfit for my grandchild-to-be, so I shall have a rummage through my patterns a bit later.
It looks like a good start to the day here, The farmer has moved his cows into the next field, where there is new grass, so I don't get a full view of them because there are lots of trees.. As you know, I've been keeping my eyes on two little ones with arthritis. Yesterday, one of them managed to stand and feed from his mother for about ten minutes - I can't tell you how pleased I was. I've been reading up, and it seems that septic arthritis is very common in new calves (and foals, too, apparently), and can be treated. Now all I can do is hope that the farmer has treated these two. The other one can barely stand for a few seconds. It's heartbreaking to see them, because you know they won't thrive if they can't drink and graze.
Anyway, I'd better go and make another cuppa.
See you later.

Morning everyone.
psso, I'm glad your DH is still at the hospital where they can keep an eye on him - and grab him for a cancellation! Hope you are managing to keep calm-ish with all the to-ing and fro-ing and anxiety. Well done on the SANDS blanket - Lou will be pleased. It sounds like she does a lot of hers in hospital while waiting too.
Maytaurus - thank you re the racing driver - she's a lucky girl, absolutely stunning. And gets to drive fast cars. Wonder if she can knit though :rotfl:
Prfungi, I passed your slanted shell instructions on via a PM, hope this is OK. I did make sure she knew it was you who was clever, not me!

Elaine I hope your OH is doing ok and that he sees a surgeon soon.
Hope everyone else is doing well too.
Alan finally had his operation yesterday. Now it's just keep fingers crossed that it's a success... there is a 70% chance that it will be, but a 30% chance it will make things worse. Just have to look at the glass as half full and hope for the best outcome.
Been a nice day here so I got a couple of loads of washing done (where the heck does it all come from?).
Mam is dozing, as is my brother Denis... only he's snoring for England . Just have to make those needles click enough to drown the noise out

Hi everyone, and thanks for all your updates. I'll add them to the update tomorrow.
LC - good luck to Alan with his recovery. At least the op is out of the way.
Shez - I can vouch for bamboo or wooden needles. They have really helped with the tendonitis in my hands. I'll look at the blog now. My items I'll be sending to you in one go, when I make a worthwhile parcel.
It's been a nice day today. I shall round it off with some crochet while I watch Quantum of Solace this evening!
Hope you are all having a good Sunday.
