Hi everyone. Thanks for all the updates.
Linedancerann - please don't think you haven't done much. As you say, every little helps. One item is just as important and valuable as loads. You certainly produce more than I do. We all have different amounts of time available, so there are no 'rules' about how much everyone should produce. I find it difficult most days to get an hour's sitting down time - I don't know why, the hours just seem to disappear!
I will be out this morning (at a friend's picking cherries from her five cherry trees. She says she can't use them all, and wants me to help myself, so I shall be stocking up the fruit bowl and the freezer, I think!) I shall try and get the update done this afternoon when I get back.
I didn't do any knitting or crochet last night - I Skyped both children, and then phoned my Mum, so I was gassing for about four hours! It's so good to be able to talk to people for free - my Mum moved house about three weeks ago, and only had her phone connected a couple of days ago, and I hated not being able to contact her. We certainly made up for lost time yesterday!
DGS and DGD have 'ordered' clothes for their wooden mannekins - you know, the type that artists use for drawing. I gave them each one ages ago and, one afternoon when I was with them, I knitted hats and scarves for them. Every now and again they ask for more sets; now they've asked for shoes and gloves! On Skype last night, I had my son measuring one of the mannekins for me; I shall have a rummage for oddments of wool and try and get two sets each in the post for them.
I hope you are all well, and that you have a good day.
Will catch up later.

mioliere, I first started using the Jean Greenhowe patterns when they were published in Women's Weekly years ago, must have made most of her things now, some many times. There's somehting for most occasions isn't there?
maytaurus thankyou for all those links, had a very extended coffee break!
psso, maybe things will start to move along for your DH this week. Fingers crossed.
My brother's waiting for treatment on his back, appointment only been postponed once as yet.
only girl, your cat sounds lovely. I've only got a couple of strays in the garden now. made them a waterproof tea chest with an old flokati rug inside which one of them lived in all winter. They wont come in the house because I've got two dogs. My last cat died at the age of 22, she was very special and loved to play with a ping pong ball thrown up the stairs, she'd bat it back down, I got more excercise than she did, but that's cat's isn't it.0 -

Hi all,
Just having a breather from the housework, hoovering makes me all hot and bothered.
Kinsey - Your cat sounded adorable 22 what a brilliant age for a cat to reach, i've been told most don't make it past 15, not sure how true that is though as have heard loads say theirs have reached their twenties. Daren't tell ds1 as he's desperate for a ginger cat and my cat doesn't like other cats, so we have to wait until he's gone to cat heaven.
Pippa - glad you had a nice time, we're having a haven holiday this summer and ds1 can't wait to stay in the caravan.
Mioliere - mmmmmmm cherries, you lucky lady.
Right off to finish the hoovering:sad::wave::jWooligans Totals 2010:
