Shaz -that's a bit unfair, isn't it? They should have contacted you to ask whether you wanted odd balls, before just sending them to you. They should know that anyone ordering a quantity of the same wool would be needing it for a particular product. Perhaps you could phone them, say you're sending the unordered wool back, and ask for a refund for that, as well as the postage.

Its true though, I found myself fondling some fluffy mohair in Wilkinsons yesterday thinking "Hmmmmm its only 50p a ball, im sure I could do something with it" :rotfl::rotfl:

can you tell where I got that one from- you see at various times in my life I have been addicted to far more harmful pursuits - I have seen the light tho-
Is there really no hope for us? Perhaps there is some retreat we could all take ourselves to and have immersion therapy?

Jean it depends how quickly you can turn that barn into the "Priory" for knitters !

You could charge 10 balls of wool for entrance fees and then you would have ven more !!!

I think we would be a very quiet, well behaved lot all you would hear is ckickety click !!
Try and do a good deed every day.

jaqui - do you mean kemps? you should be able to find it if you google it.

Chalky - wonderful!! I am going to print this off to show my family when they moan about my knitting. (even my ten year old nephew wanted to know why I hadn't taken my knitting on holiday with us - and he is a knitter).
