    Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well, I've been stood in the bath all day painting the tiles, nearly fininshed the 1st coat, whatever was I thinking:confused:. Still it's starting to look a little better now.

Shezmit - I've just finished a crochet bunting, do I need to put the ribbon in or are they ok without? If I need to put ribbon in what sort do I need to get? Sorry for asking such a daft question but I don't use ribbon often.:o
I shall get me needles out and do some boobs for you too, have missed knitting them(how odd of me):D

Right off to do dinner, then am gonna sit with me needles for half hour, I think I deserve it after the pile of ironing I've just done, still at least they've got shirts for the rest of the week.

    Enjoy your evening all:rotfl:

Hi everyone --- well hi to all here ,don't know where everyone has gone.

Ann---So pleased about your son - it is so lovely when things go well for these lovely youngsters isn't it!
    -
Shezmit-Glad parcel arrived safely -- you sound as if you are going to be so busy . But what a wonderful thing you do

TightAs- I know the weddings are coming around really quickly now arent they ( I so remember Mioliere last year !!) Well I am not normally a nervous person ,can be emotional -- but I am beginning to feel really nervous. Goodness knows what I shall be like when it is the daughters turn !!

Well today DD1 took me to her college. She is just finishing a Beauty Therapy course and had to get some treatments assessed. Well there was me thinking it was going to be all pampering, soul enriching stuff when she says Mum lets get the waxing bit done first then you will be able to relax. Lamb to slaughter came to mind and then I thought well my eyebrows could do with a neaten before the wedding. Then she says "Right Mum take your trousers off and lie on the bed. Well:eek::eek::eek: I am just a country girl at heart and do wave the razor at my nether regions if we are going off on holiday but suffice to say I now have a very neat bikini line . The cubicles are small with curtains around and it is not polite to swear at your daughter. Actually we ended up in giggles because bthen we realised the assessor had to look at the result to pass or fail her.. Well dignity disappears !!

Anyway as a reward I had my eyebrows waxed, lashes permed and tinted and a make up demonstration for my wedding make up. So it was all worth it in the end and she passed both assessments. Oh what mummies do !!
So now its just the tootsies to tidy and poem to practice !!

Still knitting hedgies here-- I love them.

Hope everyone is happy if not a hug from here xx
Try and do a good deed every day.

    Hello all

    Not been in much lately.
Missed posting my totals so will do that next weekend.

Have been out and about a lot, but think I had better slow down a bit, not feeling too good since I came back from holiday with a real bad cold, cant seem to get my ooomph back its gone walkabout

Hope you are all well and keeping up the good work.
Now I cant remember who it was, but someone posted a link to a "Ripple Blanket" I have made a start on it and its coming out really good, easy too, havent done much crochet lately, except squares so its a nice change to do something bigger.
Anyway what I wanted to say was THANK-YOU to whoever it was who posted it :T

Better go its time for Dinner
