Yes Kathy I am getting excited, nervous and all the others as well. I am afraid I get really emotional at weddings!!! I gave the waterproof mascara a real test yesterday and that was a friends lovely do--- not my firstborn and first of my offsprings weddings !!! Well I shall have to try not too as I have to read a poem !!! Favour bags to fill this week !!

To keep out of mischief have been busy with these hedgies lately !! Years of Infant teaching makes me want to display everything !!!

Hi everyone - I've just updated for the first time in ages so I hope I've not undone all Prfungi's heroic efforts! Please let me know if I've got anything wrong; you all know what I'm like! I'm amazed at how productive you all are - thank you all so much.

Well, I'm helping a friend with her work today, getting a holiday home ready for the owners who are coming to stay in it. She usually ropes her DH into helping her, but he hates doing it, so he's really glad that I'm doing it now. My DH is doing some work on their house so, as it's about 30 miles away, we are staying the night. We'll be back tomorrow, so I really hope I can start getting into the swing of things properly. My knitting and crocheting have been so neglected lately - there's so much I want to make for my new grandchild, as well as the charity things; I'm missing the soothing effect that it gives me and I am determined to set aside regular time each day for it.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Monday and I hope the update is all correct!

Morning all. I have not updated for a while as i have not produced much and have decided that i will update when i have something to shout about.

anyway, am up and at it as i am going to pick up my MIL this afternoon and we are on the EARLY flight to Toulouse tomorrow in order to be around for my favourite people, first thing (supposedly) on Wednesday morning - guess who it is. Yes... its France Telecom. Lets hope they actually arrive and then do the work - if so, its only about a month late!

By the way Kathy, i have signed up with UK telecom who will give me free calls to english and french landlines and my line rental for what i consider a reasonable rate - not sure if you have looked into this, but if you want any info, let me know.

oh well, off to clean the house so that its presentable for the rest of the week and so that i dont have to do too much when i get back.

Wow -- wonderful totals as usual -- all these " good vibrations" winging there way around the country !!

I want to try and get all the loose nds sorted out before we leave next Sunday for the wedding.

I filled the favour bags with their choice of a selection of Pick and Mix with all the retro sweets ---- there were a few left over and they didn't last long !!! DOH loves Pick and Mix especially Black Jacks !!! He would have yellow fingers from lemonade crystals given half a chance.

So I am just going to be knitting really easy things that take NO concentration at all until after the wedding. Shall I wear black nail varnish to match the hat and shoes ?????
