Know what you mean Pam, it's spooky quiet.
I'm continuing with my shell blanket but the 2 balls of aran I bought seem to be thinner than the aran I started in so it looks a bit odd:(. Never mind, it's been good practice and will have to be a dog blanket - for a great dane!
Just working up to a trip to Iceland (the shop, not the country) and then will probably be MIA all day painting DS1s bedroom. Hope everyone has a good day x

Chalky what are you doing with all your hedgehogs? I love the way you have buttons on the tags:D

Shelly How did your sale go? Did you sell your chicks and stuff?

I found this this morning. http://web.archive.org/web/20060216061956/irenecrafts.com/patterns/cradle_purse.htm
    and http://www.beadedsocks.net/CradlePurse.html
I'm sure one of you clever hookers ;) could adapt this to make it a little bigger so Shelly could use them. Waht size do you need Shelly?

Have just done Iceland - they are delivering later, perfect!
Onlygirl, I will be up a ladder (unsurprisingly) which I hate! Makes my leg muscles better though because I'm in a perpetual state of tension! Glad I'm not glossing Shez - hate that even more than sewing up :rotfl:
Love the name tags on the hedgehogs Chalky - you could've used them as placecards for the wedding!
Anyway, enough skivving. Best get to it.

Evening everybody!! It's still quiet on here isn't it. Perhaps everyone's out enjoying the weather. It's lovely here again tonight - sun is shining, but very windy.
It's been a good day today - my lovely son has managed to get a job after being unemployed since February - I'm really pleased. He's on a gap year at the moment so he needs to fill his time and earn some money.
    Happy knitting everyone.
