Shelly - are you having a little stall or something to sell your monkeys and chicks? And are the buntings in double knit or 4 ply. Thats probably a stupid question but I've just been given 5 huge balls of white double knit. Just getting a little parcel together for you.

Hi everyone! Welcome to Itsloopylisa (great name!). So glad you have joined us! I update first thing in the morning so your name and items will be added to the list then. Thanks for a great start.

Well, after having been invaded by friends and having dinner delayed as a result, I'm finally about to sit down and pick up my knitting. Have a great evening.

Hi all - a bit late for me this morning! Had a strange dream (in which I was cleaning my friend's kitchen  and she kept spilling things deliberately wherever I'd cleaned! ). It woke me in the night and then I overslept.

Maytaurus - what a great picture, thanks! I copy and paste the knitting ones and use them as letter headings when I write to my Mum. I phone her every couple of days, but also write to her; she loves getting letters and I usually have a knitting pattern or something I've found on the net to send her. The three little girls knitting, which you posted yesterday, and this great sheep, will be perfect for my next two letters to her! Plus, my DIL2 loves sheep, so this one will also be useful for a card for her.

Welcome to Bridgetdunstable - lovely to have you with us. We hope you enjoy it here! Most of the important info is in the very first post on this thread but, if you have any questions, feel free to post on here and someone will always have an answer! Don't forget to post when you have completed something, so that it can be added to the update.

Chalky - I hope you enjoyed your Spanish Indian meal. We have very good friends in France, one of whom is a great chef. It always makes us laugh because we call him 'our French chef', because he lives and cooks in France, but he's half Spanish, half Italian, so....is he really a French chef?!

Shaz - I hope you're feeling better today.

Anyway, here's today's update - a bit later than usual! Can you believe the totals - it's only been 16 days since the year started!! Well done everyone!

Hope you all have a good Saturday!

    KathyXX
