Well ladies before I go off and bathe (posh for bath!!!) and then settle down to pyjama knitting as I now call it !! I thought I would add a few lines Firstly ktog - a picture of my blanket :eek: Im too scared to send the stuff off to shezmit for fear that its useless let alone showing hundreds of addicted talented knitters ha ha - and I hope your ear is better soon - nothing worse !!!

To all those who lovingly answered my "la la" moment question - thank you :T

and finally Ive had a real giggle today looking at your posts - all this talk of men - welllll .... you are all corrupting me (hmmmmm not!) Patrick Swayze - teach me to cha cha any time - Richard Gere in Officer and Gentleman and Pretty Woman - Hugh Grant in Nottinghill and Love Actually - Dolf Lungren in Rocky 4 (he was the russian that Sly Stallone had to fight) - so there is my addition to the men in films posts! Oh forgot Tom Cruise in Cocktail/Top Gun (if anyone has seen this the bit where they are playing volleyball would definately make you drop a few stitches - they have their tops off oooooo errrrr)/Rain Man - anyway enough of that

Oh and one more thing - kathy if you were nearby I would give you a big hug and make you sit down with a cuppa - I feel so sorry for you - you are running around like a mad thing and sound soooo stressed and there you are worrying that you have'nt done any knitting - what you like!!! I hope the packing is getting done and hope you have a great time with the grandchildren and the pizza

off now - waffled too much - love and best wishes to all you man mad knitters Jaquixx

    - Dolf Lungren ..................... waffled too much

I am so sorry Jaqui, really I am, but I've had first dibs on him for about 30 years!! Drool!! Have you seen his other films? Much better in my opinion :D As for waffling, carry on, if you're talking about sexy men or knitting, you have my attention!!!!

I'm so glad to be back online, I don't think I can make you understand what it was like not popping in here every day! Needless to say, I've spent so long catching up around here, that I've done very little in the way of knitting and haven't gone through my completed bits to do a total, but it'll keep.

Shelley, I hereby pledge to post all my goodies to you this weekend (after not having done it last week, last weekend, or any other time inbetween!). Honest, I WILL do it!!!

Love and hugs to you all, especially Kathy who I suspect needs some TLC right now, you make sure you take care of yourself honey, never mind the knitting, you'll have plenty time to do that when you're settled.

I also echo previous posts that I hope you and your mum are both ok Maytaurus *hug*

    Hi everyone.

Chalky - you've certainly built up a great Spanish contingent over there, haven't you? It's wonderful that they want to carry on knitting, so well done for recruiting them!

Pam - I had to laugh at your ice cold breast!

Well, we've packed a lot more today and we are surrounded by boxes all stacked up. We are taking the rest of the evening off - I'm too old for another late night! Tomorrow, we are picking the grandchildren up from school and taking them to the local park, followed by a visit to Pizza Hut - a treat for them and it will be an enjoyable break from all the chaos here.

Well, I'm going to sit down now and hopefully do a bit of knitting or crochet.

It`s been very quiet on here tonight - everyone`s surely got red hot needles and loads to update................or they`ve gone for an early night to dream about their heart throbs.

Good morning all, and thanks for the kind words - I am feeling a lot more positive now that we have done most of the packing. I've been laughing at how DH has marked all the boxes. I obviously - because I am a girlie - have a few more clothes, shoes and handbags than him, so his box just says 'A's clothes - just the one box'. The last box of books says '10th box of books', one of those containing wool say '45,000 balls of wool in here' (slight exaggeration!), and the box containing patterns says '1 million knitting patterns in here'. Friends are meeting us at our house to help us unload, so I shall be having my leg pulled, I expect! What I do know is that they are all looking forward to having a 'new' lending library of books, and the knitters will enjoy having some more patterns - so I think it's essential that I take these things!

Well, I crocheted 1 pair of booties last night, and I hope to get quite a few done, along with some hats, when we drive down through France in the truck.

Anyway, I'm off to put the kettle on again.

    See you later.

PippaS - went in to my wool shop today with plans of taking pictures of the 'stripey' wool for you as you said you were trying to get some. Couldn't believe how many colours there were. What colour were you looking for? it is a Robin make wool http://www.tbramsden.co.uk/html/yarnpage21.html. Let me know and I can get it for you.

    Thank you so much craftlady,
I have had a look and have seen the one I would like, its a really nice and colourful one.
    I will pm you
