Pippa - a lizard! That poor dinosaur! Your description is even worse - he'll get a personality complex!
Maytaurus - trust you to come up with the perfect picture of Roamin in the gloamin's poor teddy! I really really loved the cat picture, thanks for posting it!
No knitting done today at all, although I've looked longingly at my wool and needles on the table next to my end of the sofa (the end with the dent in the cushions where I fall asleep!) I shall try again this evening. I get so cross when I doze off because I really really want to knit! I think if I try 1" squares, I might accomplish one!
I'm off to look at Bonjour Teddy. I shall say 'Bon jour, mon cherie; on cherche si beau' in my bestest French. Sorry, Jean, I bet I got that wrong somewhere!

Maytaurus-- We all love your pictures and they cheer our days so if you have a moment I am going to set you a challenge
Too long to fill you in on all my life but let me say I married a PE teacher 33 years ago and I cant do a forward roll BUT I can knit and always have SO ---
TOMORROW we leave our house in Spain at 5.45 a.m ( and I dont do mornings either!!!) DOH loves snowboarding ( far too old really but I do admire him) We arrive on the slopes him looking really chic all the kit etc etc and me looking like the biggest bag lady on the planet. I have to take everything with me to keep me occupied on the mountain top for 2 whole days. So I approach the
Gondolas (and they move far too quickly for my liking) with my knitted carrier bag ( see photobucket pictures cos it really is fab !! ) and off we go, me to knit, crochet for 2 whole days with everyone looking with much amusement as they do the apres ski malarky -- you know sunglasses or panda eyes and I am armed with a crochet hook ,
So Maytaurus I would love a picture of that scenario -- I got asked to leave the restaurant last time as I had obviously outstayed my welcome knitting but it was sooo warm !!!
I'm afraid I'm not good enough to fit it all into one picture but ....
I just had a huge delivery of my vitamins & minerals
I've taken some ....... so here we go with my best effort ........ :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane — Marcus Aurelius0 -
Thanks for this, Maytaurus - brilliant idea.
"handy hint ....if you type up your post in eg Microsoft office and then copy & paste to thread you can make sure you don’t lose it .... easy peasy"
Now perhaps infant daughter's first words won't be 'oh, b*gger!'
off to try and look at woolly Wooligans' photos with my steam driven somewhat less than warp-speed dial up.....see you next year....Ginny
6 baby hats, 3 squares
and far too many WIP's....

Hey, Chalky - that took some doing! A great selection of pictures!
Mrs Moneypenny - that's fine. I remember you saying before that you have busy weekends so I'll look out for your update tomorrow and add it on Sunday when I do the big update. Thanks!
Well, we've just had unexpected visitors so I've sat drinking cups of tea for the last couple of hours. We couldn't carry on packing - it would have seemed rude!
I shall go and get another box done, then try and get the dinner on early then at least attempt to sit down on the sofa at a reasonable time!

Have a lovely night everyone*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -
Hi everyone - this is the Baby Blanket I've been working on. The colour is actually lemon - its about 20" square - nice & straightforward - just knit & purl - no twisting.
Shezmit - I can write up the pattern if you'd like it. Let me know when you've seen it.
Will have a parcel in the post tomorrow or Friday latest.
luv

Kathy - yes my poor little dinosome little one will love him whatever he is
Chalky - I love the plastic carrier bag, useful and very OS:T
s_michaels - you are doing great, and as you get more used to the different needles/wool you might find you automatically loosen off the tension
prfungi - your blanket is lovely:T I'd love to have a go at when you write it up if you dont mind
I really must sort my wool stash out I seem to have spread everywhere, did think about getting one of those wheelie things with drawers if they are reasonably priced, has anyone got one and are they big enough for wool???
OH said I need a crane to lift my stash, bloomin cheek of the man, he has no idea, supplies are vital, think I'd go mental if I ran out :rotfl:
