Pam, I think that post is absolutely fine in paragraphs rather than lists! :T

Maytaurus, you brighten my day with your posts :D thank you!

Sue-UU I feel like I'm acting a bit ungrateful by not posting in 'your' thread, even just to motivate any newbies, please never feel like you're hounding me, I owe you big!!! :kisses3:

Kathy, I think everyone will echo my thoughts that you shouldn't get stressed by not being able to contribute knitting/crochet at the moment, or sorting out the updates, you have enough on your plate to be dealing with right now! :A Just think, after you're all moved to your lovely 'new' home, you'll have the time to relax and enjoy it, with needles in hand of course!

Thanks, Aeshna - those words have made me feel better!

Jellybeans - I've just had a quick look at Google docs and it all looks very useful. When I've moved I'll use them for all sorts of things, so thanks for the info.

I agree with everyone that Maytaurus makes a real difference with the great pics she finds. You never know what she'll come up with and I really look forward to her posts! Thanks, Maytaurus!

Does anyone know if a 6" by 6" square is useful to anyone? I don't know what to do for it as I am sure I read on here it's 7" or 4" that people are after?

Maytaurus, thanks, that's absolutely brilliant. I've spent hours on here looking for the right pattern and been defeated at every turn. I just don't seem to get on with dolman sleeves or dropped shoulders on such small sizes.
I can get on with some cardis for shezmit now.

    thanks

I am in here chatting when I really should be ironing but some things must take priority ;)

Kathy - I told you my dinosaur didnt look like one didnt I? Lou on L/H called him a lizard, personally I think he looks more like a fish with teeth :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Maytaurus - thanks for the latest patterns, love the little pink bootees, and the blue random knit cardigan, I have some wool the same as that from a local Smash and Grab shop at 99p a 100g ball. Not as cheap as B&M but still a good price and nice and soft :D

Still didnt manage to finish off the cardi I am working on, I did a Kathy and dropped off on the sofa :rotfl:

I am impressed, some of you have been very busy sorting the length of the post out, I am watching and listening and nodding and pretending I know what you are all talking about....havent a clue really..... but well done to you all :T

Better go its almost time for Lunch

Can you crochet? if so try a row or 2 all the way around to make it up to 7" or 8".
I've had to do that at times as I miscounted the stitches and just carried merrily on, then when I did measure the square it was too small ;) Good luck with it anyway.
