    try a row or 2 all the way around to make it up to 7" or 8".
    I've had to do that at times as I miscounted the stitches and just carried merrily on, then when I did measure the square it was too small

    Pippa.S no afraid I can't crochet, I've only been knitting a couple of weeks now and I think my problem is that I knit to tight as I followed the 40 stitches that I read on here somewhere.

    Shezmit oh ok thank you, glad they wont go to waste if I keep making them. Would you like them all the same colour or 3 squares of 3 different colours? I don't know much about blankets I'm afraid.

    i don't mind either way, preferably in 3 colours if possible or 2 colours. Please put a note in with them when you send them to me as i don't want to mix them with the Aaron Squares if you know what i mean

    afternoon all
    thank you STG:A , i had a lovely jiffy bag with 2 adorable hedgehogs arrive this morning.

    what day are we doing the update now you are totaling weekly please Kathy? just wondering as i dont always get in at the weekend and i know DH is off work friday so i dont think ill be about then. I was wondering if i could do my update for you tomorrow and you can add it when you next total us.

    i love the teddy picture, not sure if its being eaten by the puter or it just got a bit curious about the working but it gave me a good smile when i saw it.
