Shelbells - please don't worry if you haven't time to do much knitting. We all fit it in with our normal lives. I have hardly any time at the moment, because I'm packing for our move in a couple of weeks and my house looks like a tip at the moment! I'm just crocheting little booties in the evenings because they're simple and quick to do.

OnlyGirl - a warm welcome to you. I'll add you and your items to our update list tomorrow morning. Have a look at the latest update - there's a link (#964) which should take you to the dinosaur pattern.

Mrs MP - glad DS is feeling better. You've certainly made up for lost time - your latest totals are brilliant!

Well, don't forget that my PC is being 'looked at' later this afternoon. I hope I won't be offline for too long and will come back on here as soon as I can. I'm busy deleting all the rubbish I seem to have accumulated on it in the last couple of years!

    Have a great afternoon, everyone.

    Hello!

I've been so busy knitting and doing stuff haven't been on the forums much, such a lot to catch up on, I can't keep up!

I was shopping yesterday and bought some Sirdar snuggly kisses wool as it is soooooooo soft! But much more expensive than the 99p 100g balls of baby wool I get from Kemps. Now I'm wondering if that wool isn't soft enough

I shall be posting a parcel to you tomorrow Shelley, Kathy can you please update me with: (I've put it in my sig as well if it makes it easier for you, think I saw that somewhere!)

    2 baby blankets
    3 baby hats
    3 buntings
    8 IS hats
Loving knitting for the Wooligans! :j my totals:

    Jellybeans
    22 baby hats ; 3 Teddies for Tragedies ; 15 buntings ; 9 boobs ; 2 baby blankets ;
    8 Innocent Smoothie hats ; 2 Scarves ; 4 Adult hats ; 6 Aaron squares ; 12 hedgehogs

    Hello All
I agree with jellybeans - it's a full time job just keeping up with this thread! Especially when you only have a steam-driven dial-up daytime ISP. So have been sidetracked the last few days looking for a good broadband deal. Thought I'd found one - only to discover it isn't available in Cloud Cuckoo Land. Grrr! (Oh dear, there's another puff of steam coming out of the computer)

I'm doing an easy animal blanket to counter the stress of it all. Just charging up and down the rows is quite theraputic.

Even though my internet is limited I wouldn't be without it. Mioliere - I'm sure the internet will help you feel less far away in France (good luck by the way with the "grande aventure" and if they don't do knitting in France, I'm sure it won't be long before they do)

Have a great evening everyone - cant wait for pyjama time and tv tonight - want to finish a bunting off and do some more hats but wanted to check first that plain ones were ok

    Hi Everyone

Blimey, AWOL for a few days and Mioliere is leaving the country! It sounds like a very MSE (and huge) decision so all the best with the move. Perhaps you could sell knitting retreat holidays when you're all sorted out!
Not much of an update for me as I told DS1 I would make him a Dennis the Menace style jumper for world book day at school but have had a few problems (chest measurement as an accurate size guide for 6yo? Hmmmmm) and I don't think it will be finished for tomorrow despite doing my best to knit like the clappers but not sure he will be at school tomorrow anyway as has had high temp for 2 days.
Just 1 bunting for me please. Looking forward to finishing the jumper so I can get back to little stuff for a bit - I'm seeing red and black stripes in my sleep!
Very brave Shelley on the bungee! Yikes! And well done pub crawl ted.
