K2tog - here are some quick easy crochet patterns - one for a hat, the other two are booties. They are really easy!

welcome to the thread & Best Wishes to your mum :smileyhea

re
your 86yr old Mum's knitted shapes ................. I think it’s great that she can still enjoy knitting
My lovely Mum is 83 yrs old & has dementia & Alzheimer’s, she was always a beautiful knitter but can’t really do anything now
I might just see if I give her wool & needles (she still has all her craft things) if she can manage to knit anything at all
It doesn’t matter if it’s of no use, as long as she enjoyed doing it.

re 'Maytaurus -last night I made a little pocket angel from one of your links; my Mum is not too well at the moment so I've made it for her - a sort of guardian angel!'
That's a lovely idea, I hope your Mum gets well soon, I will be thinking of her :smileyhea:heartsmil
re 'I shall amend it and hope that maytaurus doesn't mind adding the amended version to her great list of links, as well as adding the photo I shall email to her tomorrow!' :naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty:

Hi Maytaurus - I can see the bootie pattern twice now. I had found another one but not pasted and copied properly! I'll see if I can find it. Thanks for being my 'publisher'! :A I've emailed you with the bunting photos and amended pattern. One of the photos is blurred  (no, I haven't really been drinking!) so might not be any good.

Edited to say I have deleted the duplicated bootie pattern in my last post and pasted the other one I found!

Maytaurus - the job's yours, because you're so good at it! I hope you get some sleep. Good luck with the crocheting!

Penelope Penguin - I've tried posting the link to the angel pattern I've got but it won't paste properly. I'll scan the pattern and pm it to you.
