Have followed the various posts with interest.

But can anyone give me addresses for organisations that want charity knitting? We are not into giving items for charity shops, but are seeking outlets for teddies, puppets, blankets etc where they will do some good. We don't want to post our total or whatever on the Internet, just want some addresses where our effort will be worthwhile.

Grateful if anyone can give us some genuinely useful addresses.

As Chalky 75 said if you contact any of the groups on the first page I am sure that they would be more than happy to send their address details and receive your knitted items. As I am sure you are aware it isn't always a good idea to publish addresses on web sites

Hi everyone - just calling in to say I hope you are all having a good evening. I've had my grandson round this afternoon so I sat crocheting while he played a couple of CBeebies games on the computer, then we had dinner.

Shez - I should finish the crochet bunting tonight so, if Maytaurus doesn't mind me emailing her the photo of it, it can go with the pattern.

I can see the totals have increased yet again today; some of the needles and hooks in the UK, and Spain and France (!) must be really hot!

Chalky - I loved your description of all this as a hug! It describes what we are all doing perfectly.

I have typed up an updating list to make the morning updates easier. I've listed all the items down the side of the page and will be able to list the number of each item per day in columns. I can probably put a couple of weeks worth on a sheet and then print up more as I need them. At the moment, I make hand-written notes, but my handwriting is declining due to tendonitis and I can sometimes barely read it! This new list will help me to make fewer mistakes - I hope!

Anyway, back to the wool and a comfy sofa!

Hi everyone. Haven't posted for a couple of days and just caught up with the posts. Thank you Maytaurus for all the links. I have finished one baby blanket and 2 hats but will try and do a few more before I send off. I found some nice egg cosy patterns will have to buy an Innocent Smoothie at lunch time to see if they are the same size....

Been doing that white angel wrap Maytaurus linked yesterday as I saw it a couple of days ago and thought it was pretty. Couldn`t get it finished tonight though as I had to go to work for a while.
