I don't necessarily agree with all the guy says, but nice that some folks might find their way here from there.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The StratosphereCan anybody recommend a good prices (price is the key) helicopter tour either from las vegas or the canyon...... of the grand canyon.
thanks0 -
The Volcano @ Miragethey're almost gone from casinos now due to the price of silver making them non-cost effective for the casinos to have them on the floor...but it used to be that most had a few slot machines that, if you got the right symbol on the winline, paid you a silver strike...they're normally worth $10 at the cage (some are more - ours are all $10)...some are limited edition and can be worth a lot more than $10 on the open market but we like ours just as reminders of our trips. For several years we've tried to win them from casinos where we don't already have one but would only stake $10 to try to win one. We have South Coast, Aladdin, Orleans, California, Stardust, Barbary Coast (2 - doh, didn't realise), Slots-a-Fun, Mirage, Bellagio, MGM, Circus Circus, Hard Rock, Flamingo, Treasure Island, NYNY, Palms, TI (this one labeled Treasure Island at the Mirage - we bought this one ebay), Planet Hollywood, Wynn, Sam's Town and Four Queens.
Edited to add, since I didn't really say WHAT they are...they're coins in protective covers, with various logos/pictures/etc. relating to each casino on them...they're shiny...I like them.
I too have stack of these some form casinos that are no longer there I spent a fortune getting them will dig them out and post some picciesIts Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time0 -

The Bellagio FountainsWe used Thrifty at LAS and they let you pick what is on the lot, some of the others don't. No problems with them and no hidden extras. the problem we did have is that by 7pm when we got there, there were only 2 cars to choose from in the full size, a Magnum and a Charger, we chose the Magnum, wrong!!!
We are thinking of the magnum for our next visit.
Dont know if you saw my previous post abot the 300 touring (I didnt think they were available in the US). As the Magnum is the same chassis as the 300 can it really be that bad.0 -
The StratosphereOk well i think the middle one is best for us, the wife doesnt like flying really so a little plane is a big no no.0
