Well I've just finished reading all 276 pages, you guys sure can chat :D

We (hubby and I) went to Vegas for 4 nights in Feb as part of a USA tour and loved it, so we've booked to go for 8 nights in Sept. BUT I've recently found out we're pregnant, so I'll be 16 weeks gone when we go. Has anyone done Vegas when pregnant before? I don't drink in America anyway so that's not an issue. We're staying at Circus Circus (I know, I know  but it's cheap and we had no problems in Feb), and last time we walked from there to MB and back each day, calling into the majority of the casinos. There's no way I'll be able to do that this time, so we're planning on taking the deuce or monorail as much as possible. Can anyone think of any other problems I may come across? I'm looking forward to all that lovely American food, and I can eat extra this time and have a great excuse for it :rotfl:

    Thanks in advance:beer:

Any ideas for Hotels from 16th August to 27th August? Was thinking of booking the South Point, it seems a good deal using edeal59 (35% off)

Are you aware that South Point is several miles south of the main part of the strip?

I'm not looking forward to that bit  But we're planning on lots of time in casinos :rotfl: so hopefully the heat won't bother me too much

Being indoors as much as possible will help as the heat can be overpowering. Depending on how you've booked i'd see if it was possible to change hotels, you're going to be walking in the heat a lot to just get anywhere from CC and that will get tiring pretty quickly. The only other advice i can think of is to stick to the newer casinos if you're gambling, they have better ventilation and smoke is less likely to be an issue there than in some older ones.

    Thanks for this.

I miss this promo by a week - need to be there for 19th - not really fussed when we arrive or leave though.

Oh well - time to trawl through all the deals.

Also, would you do Vegas - Mexico again? Was it worth it or was the flying time to & from too much hassle?
