This made me laugh out loud. :)

    Sounds like a great trip!

You'd better get a shift on as there is the Killers concert and the Mayweather fight on the 19th so room rates will be going up by the minute.

Yes I noticed that - my worst nightmare.

Was thinking New York for a few nights then on to Vegas but that has made it more difficult in terms of planning time.

    Help!!!!:rotfl:

Need to get a plan real soon!!

Anyone here stayed at the Mirage or Venetian recently? If so what do you think of the pool areas? At the moment our first 3 nights are booked at the Mirage but we're thinking of changing it to the V. My main concern with Mirage is i like a nice relaxed pool area to spend time in every morning and i'm worrying Mirage will be too busy and crowded for that. OH thinks we should go with V for the nice pool areas and keep Mirage for a December trip when it won't be an issue but i'm not sure. Theres a V promo for $109 for our dates which expires tomorrow so i need to decide quickly if i'm going to change-any feedback would be really appreciated:D

We've stayed at both. The PH is more modern and hip, but there is practically no wardrobe or drawer spare which is a major problem with 2 weeks worth of clothes. We have stayed there 3 times, but doubt I will go back for that reason.

We really liked Paris in May and will be returning in September.

I would personally choose Paris over PH unless there was a huge price difference, but PH may suit you.

Not sure if this has been posted before - but was looking for a decent deal for a friend who might join us in Vegas and saw the 3 nights for $99 deal at IP (he stayed there last time we met up in Vegas and didn't love it, but for that price I think he'd be happy...'course the deal isn't on his dates).

But while smartervegas.com say it's through the end of August, the availability calendar has availability to the end of the year - most Sun-Thurs. And it's a deluxe room - not capri or classic.

Re ticketmaster-I don't understand why they said you had to book through the UK site. I've booked seats in NYC with ticketmaster US without issue in the past. The only difference is they won't always let you print your tickets out but say you have to use Will Call and definitely won't post them-which is understandable.

It was by phone that they wouldn't let me book with TM US, not online.

I have called the Mandalay Bay 3 times to ask when the box office closed, but the last lady I spoke to gave me a good tip. She said I could collect the tickets at the airport at the MGM desk.

Does anyone know what time it closes? I'm sure I read somewhere it was 6pm, but I can't find the information on their website. Might have to call them.

This offer was posted a while ago and I'm sure at the time you replied and said it was cheaper going through Hot Deals.

Thanks for that. I did look on the site, but didn't think to look under Amenities.
