The Sirens of TIHi Ferf1223
Went out there for a meal in Feb, went to a steakhouse can not remember the name but steak was good...
It did not have a lasting effect on me, could be the fact it is off-strip...
Apart from that I thought if I remember prices were around $40 and they say the view is good from some of the higher rooms.
Go on give it a go next time, and we can see what you say,0 -

Sonoma Cellar - we liked it...but prefer the sister restaurant at Texas Station (Austin's) a bit more...same menu...just thought Austin's seemed a bit more comfortable to us.
Will see what deals shake out for September/October...if Venetian or Palazzo offer those $109 with free slot play, I think that will be our check it out hotel for the trip!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Hi,
There's a group of us going out for a mates birthday in the third week of October. We ideally want to fly direct and have been monitoring the flights for the last couple of months.
They have gone up from the mid £400's to over £500 now. We were hoping for the prices to come down but the most recent virgin sale only went from November onwards.
What are the chances of these prices coming down in value between now and October? We are reluctant to fly indirect as we are only going for 5 nights and we were hoping to get the flights for a bit less than £500.
Also a couple of us have flown with virgin before so have flying club miles but it doen't seem like we can use these on our preferred dates. Does this mean flights are selling out?0 -

Do your dates include a Saturday night stay? If so, you could check miles + money fares...it will bring up a matrix of +/- 3 days - so if you're flexible at all maybe you can work something out...coming up about £430 M+M
Edited to add - if you're trying to use miles to buy a seat, the availability of reward tickets is limited and this close, probably nothing left.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Yeah, we were planning to go Weds to Mon. The £430 is only available for Weds to Tues. Another day sounds great to me but just adds to the expense of others who do not have miles to use.
Is it worth waiting to see if flights will come down? Or should we take what price we can as it looks like it will continue to rise0 -
Might drop but no guarantees-personally I'd go indirect for £350 with NorthWest and save the miles for booking when planning further ahead so able to get proper value for them but then I'm not a fan of Virgin's direct flight-I don't see the point in paying for tatty aircraft and a drinks service that invariably gets halted mid-flight when there's a cheaper and for me better alternative (I don't think changing is a major hassle and enjoy the chance to get off and stretch my legs half way instead of nearly 10 hours in one hit)I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Sorry it's been so long people, had so much to do
Sat June 13th
Arrived at LAS at 5:15pm, a day late thanks to American Airlines, I should of arrived on the 12th lost a night in Vegas and the hotel room cost, (Having an ongoing battle with travel insurance for this) I grab my bags at the baggae claim where I see a nice little sign with my name on it "Mr M Battyboi" I walk up with my bags, Introudce myself and am wisked off to the Wynn, I have a !!!!!! suite booked for 3 nights, then 2 nights in Encore. Arrived at the Wynn bell hop gets my bags gives me a ticket and says call when settled into my room, I walk inside the doors and wow, my mouth nearly drops to the floor, this really is a beautiful place, I see a few people heading off to the right to check in so I quickly follow, A nice little registration sign and a desk so I stand in line only took about 6 mins, she took my passport and typed away, "Oh Mr Battyboi, your saying in the tower suites, sir they have there own check in area" she singles a man acorss and hands me back my passport "Mr Battyboi needs to be in Tower Suites* I smile, wow Im not that important you know, I was thinking but hell it felt good "This way Mr Battyboi, your first time with us sir." I smiled and replied the good old yes, He gives me the walking tour passed the casion round a few corners, then in big gold letting "Tower Suites* he holds open the door and well, wow again a whole check in area for tower suite guests, I walk over hand the passport over again "Welcome Mr Battyboi, would you like a complimentry paper in the morning." "New york times pelase" She typed away gives me my red tower suite room card and she directs me to the prive Elevators.
I run around the room screaming, seperate living room and bedroom with a glouirous yet tub and sit down shower seperate, I then slap myself around a little call the bell desk, bags are dropped off within minutes, I dedice at the this point that I dont want to leave the room but I do, I wounder around in amasement play black jack win $600 hit a fruit machine, put a fifty dollar bill in and walk away with $480 so over $1000 in my first day, that will pay for a little of the room for the next couple of days he he, at this time Im so tired from the flight that I goto the room and order room service, its 24 hours and I had a cheese burger, I had a joke with the kitche, they started asking too many questions, what time of bun, how do I like it done, do I want cheese , bacon "Suprise me, however it comes baby" It will be with you within 30 mins, well what can I say it is bang on 30 mins.

The Bellagio FountainsFinally booked our car hire, and went with carhire3000 this time as for the first time in all our trips they were cheaper than netflights. We got a dodge charger with dollar, 8 days rental for £184 (including full tank of petrol). I'm very pleased as the same car with netflights is £197 without the full tank of petrol:D
2 weeks today and i'll be on my way to vegas:j:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

I'm jealous you're going so soon! If you haven't already, remember to sign up for Dollar's Express programme so you can skip the queue upstairs and go straight down to the Express counter...I've talked to Pebbles recently about this as we're with CH3000 next time and I wasn't sure how to get my Express number on the booking - she said she just goes down with her voucher and Express card and they take care of her downstairs. Could save a load of time.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
