Also, be aware on the F&F offer that Paris hotel at least (haven't checked all the others) has a maximum stay of 5 nights under the offer. It will let you book for longer, but at a much higher rate for any nights over 5.

It does give the 5 day limit down at the bottom of the link so assume it's for all. My assumption is that they decided not to maintain a separate LCI offer code or codes and so are just sending the F&F link out now (as most people wouldn't necessarily know it's available elsewhere on the web)...the woman who emailed me said that the current LCI link was maintained by HET in the US and have not kept it updated with the current offers. Perhaps LCI will change the link on their website to the F&F link one day?

Sorry you're having trouble with your booking...as for them saying the only way is if you pay for Friday as well, I wonder how that would work - if you don't check in on Friday, wouldn't they cancel the rest of the booking? Or perhaps they put a note on it...or something. Not that you would pay for an extra night, anyway, but I would be all kinds of paranoid not arriving until a night after the start of my booking. At the very least (not that it helps you at all!), now we know that booking from a Friday and cancelling the Friday doesn't get around the Saturday being closed to arrival.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I'm really disappointed as I was really looking forward to staying at Bally's. I managed to book Paris from the Saturday night no problem.

I wonder if they will relent when I call to cancel the booking?

Can you give us some ideas of what you're into, there is such a wide variety of shows and attractions to see in Vegas that we could take ages.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of The Beatles either but I really enjoyed Love for the spectacle.

A good afternoon show is Mac King at Harrahs, comedy magician. Terry Fator is going down really well at the Mirage, he's a ventriloquist and then some, very very talented.

If you like magic then Lance Burton is very good.

These are just my personal favourites though, everybody like their own thing.

  • I looked up Lance Burton, but he isn't doing shows until June 22nd. I love music, musicals, dance, not a great fan of comedy, I mean I love a laugh but sometimes it just goes way over my head! :)

If you like dance and broadway numbers Donny and Marie at the Flamingo has both in spades. Very high energy show.

The Lion King has just opened and getting rave reviews. Tickets start at $53.

Phantom might fit the bill if you like musicals. Donny & Marie put on an excellent shows.

Lance Burton broke his foot a couple of weeks ago and is off for a few weeks.
