Personally, I'm not a big fan of The Beatles either but I really enjoyed Love for the spectacle.

I'm also really, really not a fan of the Beatles but loved this show. I even want to see it a 2nd time. I loved it. I've not seen a bad show in Vegas though, so maybe I'm fairly easy to please..... :)

yet another non-Beatles fan who loved Love here...I suppose if you hate the Beatles music it might not be a good choice, but I don't think that being a Beatles fan is a requirement...I think it is a good option if someone likes music and dance, certainly.

I also think that Mac King is a great afternoon show and vouchers for a free ticket with a drink purchase are readily available.

I'm not sure what Lance Burton's future is - last I checked they were only selling tickets to 11th July and his contract was due to end on 20th June (before he broke his toe)...it seems to be very quiet on whether his contract will be renewed or not...it is a great show though.

Can anybody tell me where they usually buy their tickets if they book their shows in advance (before going to Vegas)?
Im on smartervegas.com but wasnt sure if there was a better site?

Also do they send you tickets or do you pick them up in Vegas? I really want to have the tickets to wrap up for my boyfriend to open, but if not its not a big problem...

    Thanks for your help :j

I usually find discount show tickets through smartervegas or travelzoo, then follow the links there and book direct with the hotel.

When booking select the "will call" option for ticket collection. You then print of your confirmation page and take that, along with the card you used for booking, to the box office at the hotel where your show is. You can pick them up anytime before the show, so you could still wrap them up to give to your boyfriend in advance once you're in vegas.

I looked up Lance Burton, but he isn't doing shows until June 22nd. I love music, musicals, dance, not a great fan of comedy, I mean I love a laugh but sometimes it just goes way over my head! :)

If you like music and musicals then check out Phantom of the Opera at Venetian and Jersey Boys at Palazzo. Maybe also take a look at Blue Man Group at the Venetian as well - theres a 40% discount for late shows on https://www.smartervegas.com at the minute:

Totally agree with all that Luci said, but if picking the tickets up then wrapping them without your boyfriend knowing poses a problem, perhaps you could make something up for him - a copy of the confirmation email, a little collage of the show logo with seat numbers, something like that...we've done that before in the same situation.

One other benefit of will-call vs. e-tickets (if e-tickets are an option -sometimes for non-US buyers will-call is the only choice) is that in at least some cases people have been able to get a refund if their plans changed well in advance if they had will-call tickets, but couldn't (or it was a lot harder) if they had e-tickets.

if you want a bit more edgy humour then try Dirty Hypnosis and The Amazing Jonathan ( Both at the Harmon Theatre ) . both are easy to get at the half price booths from experiance .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

Any more hidden restaurant gems off strip to try,

Guys been looking at these posts for a while and contributed to a couple, very informative.

By means of hidden gems I mean restaurants which are off the beaten track. something you have to go out of the way to, but you make the extra effort to get too.

Like Ellis Island, honestly would not have gone near the place without your information, as from the exterior it does not look good, to get to it takes you off the strip. But food has always been excellent not just value for money but quality.

Same as the cheesecake factory, go there all the time but it is at the back of a shopping mall, something which you have to go out of your way to find.

    Any other hidden gems?
