Also what is the situation with free drinks on flights these days, we are flying thomas cook and im told we have to pay for all our drinks - i phoned our agent and they said all airlines have abolished free drinks - is this true?

11 hours is a long time to be paying for it!

Don't think so! On our BA flight the other day, the free drinks were flowing all flight long! Have as much as you want!!! :)

And also our internal frmo Manc to Heathrow was the same for all 40mins we were in the air!

It's not true that all airlines have abolished free drinks. Drinks on Virgin are free...pretty sure most (all?) scheduled UK carriers they are at least for trans-atlantic flights...

ok, is it true that not even soft drinks, tea, coffee are free on Thomas Cook unless you book one of the premium packages?

Has anyone played SnG poker in vegas, would quite like to give this a try but I am a bit worried as I've never played live before?

IMHO Mirage best for SnG poker in the evenings......number of tables/time to start etc.

    Caesars best tourney poker room.

TI best for live newbies....smaller and friendlier. Go and make your live mistakes (stringing your chips, picking up your cards, playing out of turn etc) there eg the 2pm $60 tourney has maybe 30 entries.

Agree with earlier comment that Caesars Classic room sucked.....when the lift took five minutes to crawl upto floor 10, you knew it wasnt going to be good.

    Hi

Could you please advise who what where the best place/company to organise a limo from the airport - a google search brings up endless results so a little help from people with experience would be welcome.

    Thanks.

Oh were only going to the Excalibur which i know isnt far, so preferably we would like it to drive downtown then cruise back up the strip. we need a limo that includes champagne too.

    8 passengers.

Sorry Mr Raoul, your own alcohol can not be consumed on the plane, well not on Virgin anyway

11hrs shelling out a couple of £ per drink is very harsh. We run out of booze on most flights in Econ on VS so if its true that you have to pay, hope you have deep pockets !
Going over to Vegas this weekend, so will ask a couple of the TC guys if I see them and let you know
