The Bellagio Fountainsnever hear much deals about ceasers palace on here?
haave booked 4 nights mgm grand
cant decide what to do for the other 4 but fancy something center strip at a good price so was thinking of CP,
Caesars is generally more expensive than most other mid-strip locations with the exception of Bellagio - so even the deals there aren't really comparable to the deals at other hotels nearby - may be why you don't hear as much about them (or may be that there are less out there to begin with?)...I know a few of us have had luck upgrading from either classic or forum tower deluxe rooms...I think it was Froggit who stayed in a classic room and found it to be distinctly lacking, but the forum tower deluxe rooms have recently been redone. We liked our 3-night stay at Caesars (didn't make it as high as the Augustus Tower but were happy enough in the Palace Tower)...but the place is massive and rambling and it does seem to take ages to get anywhere outside the greater Caesars property...we just booked for September/October and had the option to stay at Caesars for 5 nights comped but in the end decided we're happier at Bally's mainly due to the trek to get anywhere in Caesars and the ease of finding each other in Bally's casino if we go our own way for awhile...others may think we're nuts to choose Bally's over Caesars, but it's really what you're happy with we think.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsI agree with you Ferf
I stayed in the Palace tower in Caesars in Feb and took my friend with me who was in a wheelchair. I can agree that it took ages to get around and then out onto the main strip.
We got a free upgrade to deluxe, which IMO was really nice, maybe not as nice as Palazzo or Wynn, but we got our moneys worth as got a online promotion.
I would book again for the room, but not for the location within the property

The Bellagio FountainsFunny our honeymoon first stop was vegas 2 years ago, and we booked with ceasars through the travel agent not being aware of the rubbish classic rooms and this forum!
When we got there, without even releasing about the $20 trick or tipping properly, we arrived at 10:30pm after a long split flight from manchester at New York. The clerk had problems with our booking and then realised we both had very shiny rings (ooo err) and instantly said there will be no problems with the booking. Sometime later he came back and said we had Augustus suite for us and these rooms were brand spanking new and amazing, he left us saying "you will love it"
We bloody did love it!! Being first few nights of honeymoon too of courseif you know what i mean it was extremely nice!!!!!

The Bellagio Fountainswe got a Augustus Tower room room using the $20 trick. very very nice , but people who have ended up in a classic room have been very negative about these rooms .
offers to tend to be sporadic for Caesars , we were lucky in that one came up for our dates .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
We are staying I Sonora for two nights so planned togo into Yosemite for the whole of day two. We have looked at the options but 11 hours travelling without a stop seems just too long, but what you suggest sound so much nicer, would you agree with my timings? It means a really early departure from LV I think!!0

The Bellagio FountainsI think it's a glitch in the system - I checked on our accounts just to see if I could see anything and all of Bally's room types are showing as unavailable that date whereas all of the other HET hotels show availability...but if you look at their regular room reservations (without logging in) there is no problem booking that night.
I've tried booking without logging in and still get the message that there is no availability.
I emailed Harrah's/Bally's via their website yesterday to point out that there is a problem, but haven't heard anything back yet.0 -

I didn't know about the $20 trick when we stayed in Caesars last year, so we had a Classic room.
I'm probably in the minority here, but me and DH found the Classic room very nice, clean, comfortable and the bathroom was lovely.
I might give that $20 trick a go next time though :rotfl:;)BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

Just tried and now it won't let me book the 19th on its own, or with a few days after included...but it WILL let me book the 18th to the 20th, etc...since the 19th is a Saturday, maybe it's closed to arrivals? Which would be odd as it's not the most expensive Saturday in September or anything on their various rates calendars...weird. Hope they are able to work something out! I wonder if you could book to include the Friday and then cancel the Friday.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
