I can only get the journey via DV to Sonora to between 10 and 11 hours which is far too long. One route takes us riht through Yosemite and out te otherside and i guess we will still have to pay the $25 charge- WDYW funky- am I missing something? Seems a shame not to go via DV when we are so close!0

I thought you were wanting to "do" Yosemite on your trip? (and thus have one of the various NP passes) If you don't intend going into the NP and are just wanting to get to Sonora, then I'd avoid DV and just stay on freeway/interstate. 15/58/99 is a pretty bland cruising drive. THrough DV and then up the 395 with the sierras on the LHS , up past Mammoth and through the park is far more scenic, 80miles shorter and only about 1 hour+ longer.0 -
Other Wynn offers doing the rounds this week:
Receive $50 RESORTCREDIT when you stay in a Wynn Las Vegas Resort Room at special rates from $109 per night.
You'll also receive a complimentary upgrade to an Encore Resort Suite at the time of booking based upon availability.
Stay four or more nights and receive $25 in free slot play.
Book your complimentary upgrade to an Encore Resort Suite King online now or call us at (866) 770-7926.0 -

would appreciate any help. thinking of booking what looks like a good deal at mgm. celebrity spa suite for 4 nights with add ons including buffet passes and inner tube rental -- all for little more than $400 in october. here's my problem -- the offer is called exclusive and get there from links on sites tipped on here but this is not available on mgm website , so am i going to need a players card or invitation for this deal. we are currently booked at the imperial palace and then NYNY. thinking of changing imperial palace although then would have two hotels across from each other. all thoughts and help appreciated.
thanks in advance steve.0 -

Don't be nervous. Be a good time once it goes high to buy some and stash it.......and sell it on when it dips low again
It's the fact that the funds are not protected by the FSCS should NBS go bust that worries me...a bit paranoid of me, sure...but in these times and all that...a couple of years ago it wouldn't even have crossed my mind.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

If it were me I'd stick with your IP reservation as it's at a good location close to all the hotels at the more northern end of the strip.....having 2 hotels nearer the south end will mean a lot of walking or taxi/deuce fares if you want to visit properties like Harrah's TI,Mirage, etc
Plus IMO there is more to do at the IP end and has the added bonus of bars where the drinks are cheaper.....however at the end of the day it's your choice.....the IP is a slightly more dated hotel but we like it and will be returning again next year:hello: LORRAINE :hello:0
