The Bellagio Fountainsthe lion king. there's a show that never gets much of a mention
cant even find a decent review any where
is it still running
anyone seen it? any ticket offers?
Its just opened at MB and seems to be getting rave reviews so i'll doubt you'll see any ticket offers anytime soon. There's a few reviews on TA if you do a search on the forum. I'd love to see it but won't pay full price so i'll probably wait until my next trip. There was a room promo at MB recently though that included tickets to the show, not sure if it was a good deal or not but may be worth checking out if you are interested:

The Bellagio FountainsDoes anyone know if the Lion King at MB is the cut down version of what shows in London/New York. Thats why we didn't go see Phantom @ Vegas as its a weird cut down version from the normal theatre production and I find it a little crass!
IS the Lion King the same?0 -

It's the full show...as the article states, most Broadway shows are cut down to fit the 90-minute window most Vegas shows fit into but they didn't cut The Lion King down.

The Bellagio FountainsThe Lion King was originally having a soft opening in April and I was going to book tickets for after the official opening night, but they pushed the date back and the soft opening was 2 days before we came home.
I wasn't willing to pay full price for the soft opening when they were ironing out the glitches so we are intending going to see it when we go back in September.0 -
The Bellagio FountainsHello,
i have just got back from a week at the MGM grand, i booked it will the daily access buffet code from TZOO, just thought i would confirm that it is an all day pass breakfast lunch and dinner that is included for 2 people! we tended to use it for breakfast and then either lunch or dinner each day. it worked out really well for us as we had the room for only $49 for 2 of the nights and the buffett passes came to $80 ish! a day. the only down side is that the food was similar each day and part of the experience in vegas is to visit different restaurants! we also had pool side cocktails $28 taken off the bill
hope this helps someone who has booked on this code!!0 -
Thanks wdyw and rich- do either of these routes take longer? We are heading ultimately for Senorra, outside Yosemite, but would like the oportunity to see DV, when I did the google maps it just pointed us straight to the main road.0

Sonora? DV and up past Bishop is shorter and its the way I would go if I had to make the trip in a day even if the guide time is a bit longer. If I was flexible on time I'd go through Barstow /Bakersfield and split the trip up and stop off to see the trees in Sequoia NP.0 -
The Bellagio Fountainswow all day buffet passes
what a good price that was!0 -
The Bellagio Fountainsso happy! Finally got things sorted out and booked for the fall...and the extremely nice surprise was when we checked the fare codes for our booking with American, 3 of our legs are W-class fares and if our maths are correct, we'll earn 10,147 q-points - just enough to make the platinum challenge! NO idea how it happened as no matter what I tried before was getting us N class fares for all 4 legs which wouldn't have been enough...and even calling AA it was over £200 more per ticket to get to a fare class that would get us to the 10,000 mark.
So we'll be in Vegas from 29th September to 8th October if any meets are planned.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
