I am now thinking of buying tickets for CDS and can get the best tickets in a section right infront of the set area. Not being familiar with the set up for The Mirage, I wonder if we would end up looking up all the time or if cheaper tickets, although further back, might be better to see?
Funky: Booked on line tickets for US and FOL passes- used wrong cc can you believe it so 2.75% charge winging my way!!! DOH!

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I sat further back for Love (not right at the back) and got a great view of the show on the floor and above. I'm not sure I'd have got the same view from a seat at the front.

For concerts this is a good resource (though not all concerts will have been announced for your dates yet, I wouldn't think, so may need to check regularly):

Not got round to doing my trip report before, but wondered if anyone had any opinions on Roxy's Diner in Stratosphere. This place was one of the many highlights of our holiday and I would say it is a must see / do for anyone going to Vegas.

    Anyone else been there?

Sounds interesting-spill the beans. I quite liked the Strat when we visited-just the location puts me off staying there. Seems like a reasonable hotel -just not well situated.

I don't think we'd ever stay there either but would definately recommend a visit for Roxys Diner

Basically a 50's diner but the staff sing and dance around the diner whilst serving food. Such a great atmosphere and the best burger / milkshake / fries that I have ever had.

Cheap too and we all left STUFFED (for a change in Vegas).

We've stayed at the Stratosphere twice before, and have booked for November as well. We don't mind the location, being at the top end of the strip The Deuce is easy to use, and we do walk a lot as well. The location is also good for the Premium Outlet Mall. The good hotel rates leave us more money for shopping!

We have been to Roxys Diner and loved it. A photo of my mini burgers and onion rings. Scrummy.
