    The Bellagio Fountains
For people that have stayed at the Bellagio...

The pool area's, what are they like for getting the sun ? All the pictures I have seen have most of the pools in the shade which is no good. We were hoping to rent cabana's most of the time we are there and we dont want to sit in the shade all day or have to move around trying to get the sun depending on what time of day it is.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Hi we are staying in vegas on the 30th april for the 4 nights a group of 2 couples. We have decided to stay at the Excalibur not sure what rooms we are going to book as yet but I am realy looking forward to trying the $20 trick. My partner and I are getting married in vegas too so I will play on that while checking in also.On the saturday most of the day will be taken up by the lads going to the AMA Supercross so I want to find a treat for the ladys.Maybe a spa makeover and on to a show perhaps so some ideas on this would be great. My partner has been told Bette Midler is in concert while we are there but I cant find anything to confirm this any ideas? Also we are looking at booking the Chaple of flowers for our wedding we only want a small ceromony with our 2 freinds but want it videoed and put online live for family has anyone experiance of this chapel ? I have been reading these vegas threads for somtime and I know you guys will help me out so thanx in advance Paul

    Out 17th Feb - Ret 23rd Feb
According to Virgin Seat planner only about 1/3rd seats used up

    Wedgy2k :)

Hmmm all booked up ..... but my brother did'nt book the time off work!
As its 1/2 term week he has no chance of it!

    So my question is
I'm ok to cancel the Hotel (Up to 72 hours, Ballys)
Are virgin ok about moving the flight by a week? - 23/2 - 02/03
Or do i cancel and rebook
I'm guessing there are cancellation / Admin charges?

Can anyone offer any advice please?

Ballys should be fine to cancel if you booked direct with the hotel.

As for the flight - whether you can change it will depend on what class of ticket you booked, etc...I would call Virgin ASAP and ask them what your options are...my understanding is that there are several fares in each class - so even if your ticket is changable for a fee, whether there's availability in the fare class you originally booked or not may make a difference (i.e. if you booked in the cheapest fare class, and they don't have seats in that fare class available for your new dates, you may have to pay the fee plus any increase in the price of the ticket).

I also think that if you cancel you may not get your full fare back, but you should (I think) at least be able to get the taxes and fees portion back, which is usually a big part of the total fare.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Not sure you'll save much with the current exchange rate but Walmart and Target were the cheapest we found in the summer. Even with a rate of 1.97 (ah those were the days <sigh>) we didn't save very much-maybe £10.
Personally I'd buy it beforehand and have use of it on the outward journey

    Thanks for that
    Good Advice
Virgin can move the flights £100pp + any fare differential on new dates
Cancelation is non refundable but the actual cost we would lose is £112pp (we paid £340 each)
I booked Ballys through thier website on the friends and family promo code so hopefully will be ok

So too not painful (depending on Ballys)

The following week is Nascar racing and the hotels go through the roof
So i'll see if we can move it earlier
Even though Ray Romano won't be on that week

There is going to be a family fued this evening!
If he hasn't sorted it with his boss
    I'm absolutely gutted

    Cheers
