You can keep an eye on the ads from some places like Best Buy, WalMart, Target etc by going to their website and checking the weekly add for zipcode 89109...all have their weekly ads online...at least that will give you an idea what sort of price they sell for when they are on offer so you can compare to what they would cost duty free at the airport, etc.
The place down south I think is probably Fry's...they do have a website, but I don't think they have their ad online...not sure if the online prices will be the same as in-store.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Volcano @ MirageI thought that DS games were no cheaper and suggest that he unit is probably the same price if not more in the US and you will need to get an adapater for the charger. Just checked $129 at Walmart plus tax you can get them for around £99 quid here so probably better buying before you go and then you have it to play on the planeIts Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time0

The Secret GardenI've had a quick look on Fry's and Wal-mart websites and a DS works out at around £89....the same price as it is at Dixon's duty free....so not a huge saving is it:hello: LORRAINE :hello:0

The Fremont street experienceNice TR Mooky- inst it a pain being from Newcastle and having to do the transfers- makes me jealous of the southerners.
As for your outward leg sounds like you very lucky getting a different aircraft from the Alitalia 5 they usually use to LV.
Further to that it became apparent that after my October trip the GF wouldnt let me go back for a good few years. So I bit the bullet and got engaged and now were going back for a wedding. I cant wait!0 -
The Bellagio FountainsGreat trip report mookybargirl
If you want to do the movies again try the IMAX at the Palms.
We went to the cinema at Cannery a few trips ago...they are an all DLP cinema which means the films are shown in incredible (digital) quality - it's rather amazing...it's not IMAX, obviously...but really worth checking out...we saw Fred Claus and were blown away by the quality...a sci-fi or action movie would probably have been even more impressive.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Firstly - do you like it hot...really, really, really hot? If yes, then proceed...if not, rethink your dates.
Timewise, I think you have plenty of time to get something put together for the summer.
You can get a lot of help here on your other questions, but it would help if we knew where you would be flying from (or if you have options as to departure airport), what sort of things you like to do, age range of those visiting, general price-range you are looking at, etc.
Then we'll all give you differing information (because it's all based on personal preference based on what we've done before) but at least you should have some more info to go on.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Well age ranges I am 22 and my boyfriend 24, we can fly from either birmingham or could fly from London, well anywhere really as long as its not scotland, we live near to Birmingham so that would be easier but i cant see london being a problem.
Price wise i dont really know how much a holiday to LV would typically cost, and yes i do like the heat, would it stop us from doing certain things or would we be mad going at this time?
Acitivity wise I dont really mind what we do as long as its fun lol. Also want to stay in a reasonably good hotel, would love a posh room but dont think im that rich lol!
Thank you for your quick reply xx:jHas saved so much money since joining this forum, thanks to all you kind people out there :j0 -
