Mrs P - book your flights direct now eg Virgin/BMI, and hotels a month or two before you go.

I was just thinking about doing that actually.. Will have a look at the prices, i think i found them quite cheap through last minute.com but shall have a look on virgin

    Thank you

Yes! But trip no 4 is going to be early next year as part of wedding/honeymoon. I can't wait though! I've already checked the prices for Nov this year and it's £100 cheaper than last year. OH thinks I'll make him homeless if I always get my way. We actually weren't supposed to go in Nov, but I swung him round - lol

MBG, you said that the trip out on VS was great. They must have had to use one of the LHR metal for you, that would have been lucky because as you could tell from the return, that is the norm.
BTW, has everyone seen the VS advert on T.V. !!!!!! is that all about, certanly not service, again all fluff and no substance.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Stoneman - did you stay at the Paris and if so can you comment on the quality?

Thanks so much for the report - really enjoyed it...I would totally have been in tears had I been in the vicinity of your engagement moment...that was so sweet!

You guys did a lot of the things we do in Vegas so your report was especially nice for me to live vicariously through - can't wait for April!

Thanks again for taking the time to write it up.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

glad you managed to get some free drinks Tyler!!, from when we went in June '08, and also from Stonemans review we were getting a bit worried... i will downscale our worry to 'concerned'

i certainly think the posher places are being a bit stingy with drinks (Bellagio certainly were - much like Stonemans experience of wherever he was playing (craps?), we were playing slots for over an hour and got naff all (apart from our biggest loss in our vegas history!)

just reading your report too mooky ---- great stuff (and congratulations!) :) out of interest, how much was Prime? my missus says steaks in vegas are SO different to steaks here! she will actually eat it there too but won't touch it here!

nearly forgot... Tyler / Mooky... get some piccies up! :)

A huge difference between the 2 flights! Wouldn't believe it was the same airline.

I didn't get the receipt for this one (phew), but I think the whole bill incl wine and dessert was about $350.
