Just checked their T&C's, they accept Visa, so that means the money is safe. :)

i've sent a couple of mails asking for the rate at £1000 and £10,000.
    will update if hear back...

i think the general conclusion is the rates are about 2 years out of date!

They accept Visa debit cards which I understand have some of the protection of Visa credit cards...but pretty sure I read somewhere that there's a chance you will get hit with a fee if you buy foreign currency on this type of card - I'm not exactly sure of the specifics, but may be best to check with your card issuer to be sure.

My friend got 5 nights @ the MGM and flights from MAN with Expedia for £450 in December last year. Started off at over £600 when she first started looking and then came down in price nearer to date of departure. Think they only booked it 2 weeks in advance though.

I was having a nosy on expedia checking out december prices, and noticed they are taking bookings for the new Vdara hotel at city center:

It looks very nice, not sure i could be tempted away from a casino hotel though.

Does anyone know the max you can take out of a ATM in vegas using a FAIRFX card?

It depends on the ATM...some have lower limits than others...FairFX's website seems to indicate you can take up to £3000/day (though it technically says 'spend')...so I doubt that FairFX's withdrawal limit will be lower than any given ATM - so will be down to the ATM.

Okay i now suspect this and your other post maybe a "Troll"

hmmm...really? I don't get that at all (but I'm usually the last to catch onto these things)...someone trolling would surely have gotten the $13 hotel room themselves, no? Well, in any event, I hope the poster is genuine.

If we get bored in Vegas, maybe I'll ask at a few hotels what the walk-up rate would be...like an experiment...though I suppose the big convention might skew things might still be interesting to see what rates I'm quoted...mind, the chances of me getting bored are slim...maybe if I get poor in Vegas. :)

Is there any websites etc that tell you how much each ATM's max is? I'd imagine not?

Feel free to suspect. You are wrong, though.
