I have booked up for Dec 6th-13th.

Looking for some advice to if people think we should book our flights now or wait until nearer the time. If memory serves me correct flight prices were quite good over that period last year?

My friend got 5 nights @ the MGM and flights from MAN with Expedia for £450 in December last year. Started off at over £600 when she first started looking and then came down in price nearer to date of departure. Think they only booked it 2 weeks in advance though.

    p.s What's a "troll"?!?

this has been posted up on the $ forum:

    http://www.travelmoneyservices.co.uk/radiotravelshop/content/us-dollars.asp

    Great rates...anyone used them?
i'm sure this has been posted in the $ forum (not got chance to check at the moment), but this seems odd...

TMS and CCE share the same premises (probably the same company?)

    TMS:
    http://www.travelmoneyservices.co.uk/content/us-dollars.asp

    CCE:
    http://www.crowncurrencyexchange.com/content/us-dollars.asp

that link you posted (http://www.travelmoneyservices.co.uk/radiotravelshop/content/us-dollars.asp ) is an offshoot of the regular TMS website / prices and is a lot 'better' (as you can see)... seems fishy and ever so slightly optomistic!

I'd wonder where the source of that link came from and why the rates are able to beat everything else in sight with such a big stick (including the normal TMS rates) - i suspect it should be targetted at certain individuals ('members of something' perhaps... or 'customers of someone')

    weird...

(incidently the second batch of money I have ordered from CCE (ordered @ 1.60 just before Xmas) came this week - so i can stop sweating about the fear of them going bust!)

Both links (TMS and the offshoot Radio Travel Shop) quote the same company registered number...and I would guess that TMS and CCE are in some way associated too - TMS's registered company name is Crown Holdings (London) Ltd, CCE is Crown Currency Exchange Ltd...same or similar directors at both companies...so wouldn't be surprised if they share premises and/or registered addresses.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

That has to be a bit too good to be true ? 1.69 US $ with a 15 day wait time ? that rate is fantastic and I would buy an awful lot if these guys were genuine, do you think I'd be safe If I bought just now ?
