The Bellagio FountainsOK who's up for a meet on 6 May? I know there was a bit of interest and as it's now 3 week today until we leave I thought we might get it sorted.
Need suggestions of where to meet and how we will recognise each other.
I think Pebbles, funkyfin and Tangobunny were interested and one other whose name escapes me.
Should we be doing this by PM? Let me know if we should.
yes yes yes! i tried to organise before but couldn't get it together with everyone!!!!
I am totally up for it... a meal and a drink to get to know eachother etc........
PM, you can't PM to loads of people at the same time...... so tried to get email addresses but people seemed reluctant!!!
We are at the MGM.... is it defo the evening of the 6th May?? I don't think we have anything planned, we are doing the mystrey tour on the 5th I believe.0 -
Twilight check-in or online?
Reading on here it seems that a lot of people opt for twilight check in. Is there any benefit to this over the online check in 24hrs befor flight?
We are staying at sofitel hotel(gatwick north) so either option would suit us.

We actually do both - we check in online 24-hours before...then go to twilight check-in to check the bags, etc...main benefit of twilight is that then you're done except going through security the next morning..it's also been reported that you can buy exit row seats at twilight (and so I assume also the extra legroom seats at the back if they have them). So much more relaxed start to the holiday not to have to queue at check-in the morning of the flight. It does take a bit of planning though as you'll need to keep back whatever bits you'll need that night/morning and any liquids will have to be in 100ml containers or smaller since you'll have checked your bags.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Secret GardenWe're off to Vegas on Monday and will be there over Easter weekend. Possibly a stupid question, but would I be right in assuming everything will just be open as normal on Easter Sunday etc?0

Recently we've went in June or December so i'm not familiar with flight costs for July. Is this a good price?
I would say no. For a stopping flight from London you should pay £360 in July.0 -

Everything will be open...some restaurants will have a special menu for Easter brunch or dinner...I can't remember when we were there last year if it was terribly busy in terms of mealtimes or not but for a sit-down restaurant if you can probably best to book.
