Will keep checking the forum out as there is loads of info on here. Thanks again. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

You could take your whole entourage to Vegas for that, then let them chip in wedding present money for the wedding. BTW our Vegas wedding cost us about $100, $60 for licence and $40 for the drive thru
We actually got married in Vegas and didn't tell anyone. Tracy wanted to have a beach wedding in Cyprus but the marriage licence alone was £300.
So on a whim while we were in Vegas we did the deed and took a small family gathering to Cyprus for what they thought was our wedding, but in fact was just a blessing, no one was any the wiser. To this day neither her mum, or my kids know what we did.
The suggestion by ferf is a brilliant idea I think. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

Fantastic location but thats about all. I would choose Flamingo over IP any day. Pool at IP is rubbish and yes it is next door
Thanks. The qoutes keep changing on me all the time. Sometimes they have rooms and sometimes not.
Thinking of choosing between Flamingo, Ballys and Bellagio (which is a fair bit more). Not sure how much of the pool i'd use, but would be nice to have the option.0 -
The Bellagio Fountainsjust noticed that the LCI links are no longer working except for Paris and Rio...all the others when you click through it says:
We're sorry, but the special you requested is either expired or invalid.
Weird.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

All have pools, just that some are nicer than others. What are your main priorities? It might help us give suggestions. Obviously Bellagio is in a different class as you know...I know a few of us agree that without a fountain view (which is more expensive to book or keep fingers crossed for an upgrade) it's not really worth the extra cost to stay at Bellagio...unless it's perhaps a special occasion and you want a treat of staying at a pretty nice hotel...really just depends on what's important to you.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsThanks guys - no, the 4k does not include drinks :rotfl: The family are great and haven't made any demands of us (yet). I guess I just never expected to cost so much once everything was added up and I have found a really nice venue, so it is a bit more than everywhere else. I don't think OH's parents would want to go all the way to Vegas, so I'm expecting that if we go to Vegas, it'll just be the two of us and I'm ok with that. I hate making decisions.... and I want to get back to Vegas this year but OH isn't going along with it. I swung him last year though so here's hoping
Oh, wedding would be next year though either wayLove MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
The Secret GardenHi Guys,
We leave in 2 hours to go to Manchester & fly out tomorrow morning.
I just want to say thanks toeveryone who has taken time out to reply to my questions again - much appreciated - makes the whole Vegas experience easier.
We still haven't book LOVE as yet as I seen it was on 50% yesterday at the booths - will obviously need to decide to book now at 25% off or hang fire hoping for the 50% at the booths.
UPDATE - booking function disabled at present so will have to be over there - decision made for me then!!
I got a reply from the Crown & Anchor regards to the footie - say they should have it but will pass my query on.I have 4 days before to try find somewhere anyway - they have the Celtic Convention in Vegas every couple of years so should get it somewhere!!
Cheers guys0 -
