Which reminds me........Scenic (part of Papillon now) GC trips......last week no fuel surcharge. They have been as high as $40 or so per person recently.

simonts - in the 2008 thread, Im sure I posted a couple of months ago a GC heli trip for $90 at a normal time.

I want to add a new recommendation for a great place to eat, its Maggianos little Italy which is on the North side of the Fashion Show Mall overlooking Wynn. We had our reception there and thought it was good but the wife and I ate there last trip and it was amazing and great value, only order a half portion as even this you will not finish but the food is great. Fat burger is the best burger chain though we only had one burger all trip but it was very good and the best chips (chunky) that I have ever had. The breakfast sandwich on the 24 hour menu at Grand Lux caf! is awesome

I hasten to add I have not seen the mud wrestling nor the bull riding even though I have been in the casino when this was happening I am guessing it was in a back bar somewhere.

Them's fighting words! In-and-Out Burger is the best burger chain! :) We didn't get there last trip...pretty much dying for an In-and-Out double-double, animal style...and their chips are awesome (though not chunky)...freshly cut right there...delicious...we'll be driving in from LA and have already found out that there's an In-and-Out in Barstow - so that's lunch sorted.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I don't think there's much of a dress code early evenings. It opens at 5pm and is free until the entertainment begins later in the evening. I would imagine there may be some sort of dress code then.

When we went up there just after 5pm it was pretty quiet. No one said anything about our attire. Were were in jeans and light jackets, it being November. The view is amazing!

I wore jeans, shoes and a shirt to Voodoo we ate first fantastic food though slightly overpriced (not expenisve). I actually get bored at clubs so we only stayed about an hour and then moved on to a poker room.

Is it around March time that the May offers /promo codes come out???
I hate being without anything but am reluctant to book anything just yet....I know you can cancel and rebook at no cost but I just can't be arsed to keep doing it all the way up to my holiday

You do have to put some effort in

I have mine booked for march now (double booked a few nights) but still check on a daily basis and will do up until departure.
