    Thanks for this.

Have you guys used this site before to book? It's almost £700 on Expedia for these 3 nights!

Also the Wyn - have you been? How does it compare to somewhere like say the Venetian?

    Thanks

They are both 5* hotels, but I have saw many travel agents saying the Wynn is 6*, Venetian rooms are gorgeous as are the Wynn's. Wynn's pool is better than the Venetian in my opinion. The Wynn's shops are stupidly expensive so unless your flush, you wont do much shopping in there. Venetian does have the best restaurant in Vegas though, in my opinion again. If your thinking of the Wynn and Venetian, dont forget to have a glance at their sister hotels, the Encore and the Palazzo.

Sept deals youll probably start to see in June/July.....theres no need to panic about leaving it and Vegas filling up.......it wont!!! As said a few posts back, the summer deal last year was "pay the temperature in dollars", and as it doesnt really go above $115, it was a bargain.

That was the first thing on my mind, I would start to panic :D

Thanks for the info, if the rest of the party are prepared to wait then great, if not then I dont see any harm in booking something soon then cancelling and rebooking in June/July to keep everyones mind at ease ?

We may, actually...sister is pregnant, so 2nd trip to see the family is warranted...and may as well tack Vegas on the end there...waiting until later in the year to make any firm plans but maybe we will see you this year!

    That would be great!

    Hi guys,

After getting the first 4 nights sorted last night (4 nights at the Venetian Wed - Sat) it's time for me to make a decision on the last 3 nights of our trip - from Sunday 15th March.

I have seen the following & wondered f you had any thoughts/experience:

Caesars Forum Tower Room - $376 based on the friends & family deal

Mandalay Bay 550 DR Room - $392 based on a TravelZoo deal

or stick to some sort of budget and book the Paris for $228, again on a F&F deal.

Alternatively, even if you'd think I'd be better of waiting for another week or 2 - it does seem to be a buyers markets at present with some of the great deals around.

Oh and just a general comment - the prices at Planet Hollywood are nuts!!

tough call i like all of them . not sure on the quality of forum tower rooms.

Mandalay bay is a fav of mine , but you have to comfortable with the location . there is still loads of fun to be had at the south end of the strip though.
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

We stayed there one night (misprice at hotels.com I saw reported here)...we had a panoramic view room for something silly like £40/night...58th floor if memory serves...gorgeous room, great view, most comfortable bed in the world, ever...enormous bathroom with separate shower stall that was massive....really, really comfortable.

But Venetian is all suites...so you will get a lounge area in addition to a bedroom area...smallest is 650 sqft...though looking at the size of the Wynn rooms smallest (resort) is 640 sqft...which surprises me as the rooms on Venetian's website looked a lot bigger than the room we had at Wynn...we did have a sofa and little seating area, but would still have said that Ventian's rooms are bigger...but apparently not.

Is it around March time that the May offers /promo codes come out???
I hate being without anything but am reluctant to book anything just yet....I know you can cancel and rebook at no cost but I just can't be arsed to keep doing it all the way up to my holiday

    whoo hoo
    Thanks.
Another question....which hotels have the best lounges.
Didn't do any lounge bars, clubs or bars the last time as we had a 16 year old with us.....so I want to make the most of the entertainment on offer this time round
    Any suggestions.

I was thinking the same but after checking in to Encore hours after checking out of venetian I think that the rooms at Encore were wider than the Venetian rooms making them as big but feel slightly smaller

Ah, I bet you're right...also, based on first hand experience at Wynn and photos of Venetian, I think that the Wynn rooms have more empty space - they don't cram a lot in there - there's plenty of room to move about (not to say that Venetian rooms are crammed in with stuff, but they use most of the space)...so probably the combination of the dimensions and the use of the space that makes them seem different sizes when they aren't.
