A little off topic, sorry but hoping someone will know.

The Angels Baseball play at Anaheim and have a game on while I am there in April (tickets not on sale yet).

Has anyone been? do they sell out or is it easy to get tickets?

    Thanks

Just in case anyone was planning on going to see the Lion King, it has been pushed back. Previews now start on 5 May instead of 22 April and the Grand Opening night is now 15 May instead of 2 May.

That has thrown my plans awry as we have my birthday meal on the 5th, the MSE meet on the 6th, Tom Jones 7th and go home on the 8th. I'm also not paying top dollar to watch them effectively "practise". Looks like we won't see the Lion King this trip.

Oh well, I'll just have to go back.

I realise this isn't the most comprehensive of answers but I went to Houston Astros game last May and the whole thing was dead easy - ordered online (ticketmaster) and collected a couple of days before.
Had no problems to speak of and looking at the Angels site they appear to also use ticketmaster.

Also not going to be specific to your question, but we were due to be in Chicago a couple of years ago to coincide with a Cubs game and since my husband had never been to a baseball game it seemed a great idea...in order to secure tickets, we had to be online at the time they went on sale to the general public (and at one point each had 16 IE windows open waiting to be successful in the lottery system which randomly selected people to purchase tickets). In the end, we got great seats and had no trouble picking up the tickets at the park on the day...when the game ended up being rained out. :( Gutted. We did get our money back, but it was such a shame that the game didn't happen.

It may depend on how big a rivalry the game on your date is and the Angels may be completely different than the Cubs...but my experience was that the tickets for the bulk of the games sold out very quickly once they went on sale.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
