I first played craps at the Flamingo free lessons. The pit boss that was taking the lesson asked if anyone played B/J, I stuck my hand up. He then said that by the time I learned craps I would find B/J too boring to play, he was right.
There is only one bet you need to know when playing craps, leave everything else alone until you become more confident, and never play anything in the middle of the table where the stick man is, they are proposition bets and have a very bad return for the player. If you play and don't feel confident to throw the dice just pass it to the next person, I never throw, every time I do I either throw a craps, or I seven out, I am famous for it at PlanetHo.
To prove it, next time anyone is in there, ask ANY of the craps dealers if they know Andy and Tracy from England, they will laugh and say not to play on any table that I am the shooter at:D
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Its funny and I know that it cant really be the case but US old timers 60+ always seem have longer throws than anyone else.

Cheers Ferf, you read my post and spotted that I had obviously misread (miscalculated) the original post on what cards I was holding.... :D

Now that I understand I would be holding A-7, I can see from the chart that I should hit :p

Maybe learn pai gow poker- sounds hard but it isnt- most online casinos (i use PRK casino and its free) will have it and you can practice on there. And you should be kept in drinks all night without losing to much

I was watching and talking to some people playing this in Nov. Looks harder than it is and the dealer they had was very helpful if they were pairing up their hands wrong. Might be brave and try it myself next trip :D

This might be interesting. We took some video of planes landing at LAS during dusk. the spot is the car park nearest the railway line at Town Square shopping.

Hm - looking at Virgin Atlantic website and when I search for Vegas flights in Nov, I get an odd error page back, but can search for San Francisco. Hope they're not pulling the flight...... :rotfl:

I got that quite a few times when I was searching for my flights earlier this month. I don't think its anything to worry about.

I think that the Abbey Zero is only better than the PO credit card if you are going to withdraw cash on it...at least that's how I read it when I looked into getting an Abbey Zero card to replace the PO...we only use the PO card for credit purchases and not cash withdrawals (we use our Nationwide debit card for cash withdrawals), so there was no reason for us to bother with it.

That makes sense, I didnt actually read the article as I am also happy with my PO credit card for purchases and nationwide debit card for spending money.
