I hope by now you have read all the correct replies and gone and got yourself a nationwide flex account and a PO credit card.

Please read martins sticky on travel money, it will tell you all about these accounts/cards

is that the post office travel card?

We call that the 'Wheel of Death' haha

... your money always fritters away on that! Is fun to play though! :D

agree with others, BJ can be fun to just sit around, chat with a regular group and have a laugh --- and most important it's probably the 'easiest' (least complicated) game to learn and be able to do this

you're right though, if you get 'experts' on your table it does your head in! - we get them at our local casino here (the £2 table) and it's crazy!!! they think they're the boss... we do as stoneman does and just move on :)

i nearly gave someone a slap once cos of them having a go at my wife for playing how she wanted to play!

don't let any of that be a deterrant though - it's only a small percentage of idiots that think they know it all :)

    Or Big Six.

Probably the worst game in the house in terms of house edge, but still fun on occasion. :)

I used to play a lot of BJ but I actually find it boring now, that does not mean I will not play but I tend to play more Craps and for fun hav a burn on the fun games with terrible odds, Let it Ride, 3 Card Poker and Caribbean Stud
Me to, I used to play only B/J for about 6-8 years, now the only time I play it is in this country. In vegas I only play craps, but that can scare the bejeesus out of you. I lost $300 in less than 5 minutes last trip.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    I dont think so.

It is a credit card from the PO with no foreign loading.

A quick read of the travel money sticky now says the abbey zero is the best credit card, but the nationwide flex account with a debit card is still the best.

I think that the Abbey Zero is only better than the PO credit card if you are going to withdraw cash on it...at least that's how I read it when I looked into getting an Abbey Zero card to replace the PO...we only use the PO card for credit purchases and not cash withdrawals (we use our Nationwide debit card for cash withdrawals), so there was no reason for us to bother with it.

    Sorry for any confusion....
