Thats a really good price for the Signature, I've got a Celebrity Spa Suite for three of those dates for $89.00, if it wasn't for the resort fee of $15.00 I would seriously consider it.

    Anybody have any thoughts??

Take the Signature at that price, that's a bargain. I've stayed there three times and it has always been consistently excellent. Additionally I'd say, from what I know, the room is far superior to the celebrity spa suite.
  • I dont know if this is of any use but last year we stayed at The Imperial Palace , its not a fancy hotel , pretty basic but clean . The location is perfect , next to the Flamingo , it cost us around £180 4 nights . We had originally booked for the Venitian but found tips on Las Vegas recommending this hotel so changed and was glad I did . It seemed a very popular hotel especially with Americans , the casino was the busiest of all the hotels we visited , or seemed to be as we arent gamblers lol. It also has the best breakfast buffet on the strip I would say .

As I said its not a fancy hotel but at the end of the day you are only sleeping there

Sorry my view is different IP is the worst hotel I have stayed at in Las Vegas, I am actually trying to think of a worse hotel I have been to in the US and dont think that I can. The casino is crowded becasue of low table limits, its smoky and you have to navigate through it to the elevators which must be the oldest and the slowest in North America, the pool is poor and our room was filthy as were the corridors.

For me the hotel I stay in is a big part of my Vegas experience and I dont like the "we just sleep there" thing I want to stay at a resort that I enjoy and not somwehere just to come back to last thing at night and leave first thing in the morning. For not much more money we choose to stay in a hotel that we would not be able to afford in any other town. If I am on a cheap trip then my budget choice is Excalibur.

Glad you enjoyed your stay there and at the end of the day thats all that matters! I think you might have enjoyed the Venetian as well (though your wallet might not have agreed!).

The fee at the ATM in Casino Royale was only $1 last May. Most are $4 or $4.99.

In November 08 it was $1.50, but the ATMs were out of service. (At Casino Royale)

Tangobunny arrives on the 5th. Not sure about funkyfin. Was thinking the 6th would be the preferred date as we have plans for the 7th and leave on the 8th.

I have stayed in both rooms. The Celebrity Spa is a very nice room, but the Signature has the edge for me. If you are thinking that you might need Internet access then MGM will charge you $13? for 24 hours. The Signature Internet is free,(or you could walk over to the Sig. reception area and log on from there) you also get to use the gym and get morning papers. So you might not be too far out with the $15 a day extra.
And the Travel Zoo offer link definitely says a charge of $15 a day will be added, not $20.
The only problem I found with the Sig. is that if you have a car you have to valet park it, so loads of tip money needed.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
