I know this is a few pages back now, but just catching up... please be aware this was a special email offer! :) you may get 'denied' it if you book it

better off using the travelzoo offer (if still available) as it's the same prices as that one :)

[edit] IGNORE ME!!! i was a little hungover (and wrong) when i posted this! :) the link is fine for all to use! [/edit]

The link takes you to a Travelzoo Exclusive - are you saying this could be a problem as it has accepted the booking without a problem?

last summer there was a link posted in many places (including on here) for MGM Grand that was an email only offer people had even called up after booking to confirm and some were told it was confirmed overthe phone then MGM cancelled all the bookings. I would be very careful on an email only offer http://thestrippodcast.blogspot.com/2008/07/mgmgrandcom-not-hacked-but.html

, but now I see that its only £80.00 more for a 1 bedroom suite above the cost of a Junior Suite!!

That makes a Junior suite £240.00 or a 1 bedroomed suite £321.00 for three nights, either way I think its a real bargain.

    Decisions, decisions!!

Definitely the 1 bedroom suite, much better than the Junior, then you can ask for a corner at reception, those are amazing. Don't be tempted to use the $20 trick there though, it will fall on deaf ears as the apartments are privately owned.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I have stayed in both rooms. The Celebrity Spa is a very nice room, but the Signature has the edge for me. If you are thinking that you might need Internet access then MGM will charge you $13? for 24 hours. The Signature Internet is free,(or you could walk over to the Sig. reception area and log on from there) you also get to use the gym and get morning papers. So you might not be too far out with the $15 a day extra.
And the Travel Zoo offer link definitely says a charge of $15 a day will be added, not $20.
The only problem I found with the Sig. is that if you have a car you have to valet park it, so loads of tip money needed.

Would I be correct in thinking that by staying at the Signature, you can also make use of the pool facilities at MGM if you want to ? I maybe getting confused with Mandalay Bay and Four Seasons though !

That's an easy decision - 1 bedroom is much bigger (fancy 2 bathrooms?), and is much nicer. £321 is a fantastic price, don't delay, book it!

We managed to bag an upgrade at the Signature in May 07 - initially allocated a Jnr Suite on a low floor, then think I flashed $30 and explained we'd like a nice room as it was our honeymoon. Quite quickly they put us on 38th floor in a 1BR Suite. This was only for 2 nights - would probably need at least $50 for a 3 night stay, which would still be great value. Then again, if you can guarantee the 1BR for £80 extra up front, I'd go for it !

I got the link I posted about MB from the TravelZoo website. ;)

I would definitely book the Signature rather than the MGM. I really enjoyed my stay at the MGM, but from the reviews the Signature is a class apart.

I just wish/hope a similar offer is on for the time I am there as we are already booked at $119 which I am more than happy with, but $89 would be fantastic.

    enjoying the rollercoasters

May be worth a trip to Primm if you like rollercoasters...they also have a log ride and some other stuff I am blanking on right now...the rollercoaster (Desperado) used to be the tallest or the fastest in the world - I think it's lost that title, but it's a 40 minute drive or so...they have an OK outlet mall there too.

Here's the link to the attractions there.
