    Hello!!

Yes, I was wondering where this thread had gone....In my defence I have been suffering with pelvic pain and varicose veins so couldn't really sit here for long....

But....the nesting has kicked in with a vengeance - I've cleaned the oven (you can eat your dinner out of it now...and I mean from the oven floor :D) and I hoovered out the car (I've had it 7 years and it's been hoovered 3 times...), not to mention group 0 car seat, moses basket and pushchair. The last 3 need going over with some Milton, then that's another thing off my list.

House-wise I've been trying to keep on top of it but I've had yet another cold which resulted in a complete loss of energy for two weeks - it's only just come back enough now. I've still got the hospital bags to pack, but I'm now waiting for my non-bio to arrive before I wash the baby's clothes (that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!).

Oh god, there's so much to do.....I'm aiming for an early drop - 37 weeks, not 42 - as with DD (well I can hope). And checking in my diary that's next week...

But... ... I've given so much to charity that it's untrue (I think they're sick of the sight of me - I'll have to send OH in!!).

Great to see the thread return!
    Take care all

mummy2mygirls: Keeping fingers crossed for both of us....I don't want to be induced this time, that's for sure, as I'm trying to avoid the consultant led unit at our big hospital. I'm currently booked for the local community hospital where I will (hopefully) be delivered by my community midwife (if she's on call, that is). Baby is currently behaving and is head down, with spine along my left hand side - DD was a back to back lie and decided to turn the 'wrong' way when she was being born....that's 270 degrees of agony. I don't envy you one bit.

Don't be misled by what looks like fantastic organisation for the baby - it's all happened in a flat panic over the last day and a bit. My family have all been giving me bits and pieces since last August - not that I need anything to be honest, we still have so much that we kept from DD. It's just really been a case of drawing it all together and deciding what to use and what to, erm, tactfully store...

Yes, I'd better be off to bed too - DD has been having some issues recently, mostly exhibiting as uncontrollable rage (she's 4), but I think this is pretty much down to the impending arrival of junior.

    Take care

    Bumpety bump!!

Hello mummies :hello: How are you all getting on?

I am doing quite well at the moment.... hence my posting. I tend to go quiet when things get on top of me, so sorry for disappearing.:o

I have started a wee work from home card business so that is giving me some time to use my brain a wee bit and hopefully will bring in some money soon. I am going to join curves so I can get some exercise and hopefully lose some weight. I have to be very organised so I can fit these two extra parts into my life and the card business is forcing me to be a bit more sociable (to get customers ;)). I have a friend and her toddler coming round tomorrow for a play date with my dd which I'm really looking forward to, for my dd. I'll need to give the house a once over tonight and make some soup and scones for their visit tomorrow (HM to save money more than anything)

If I have some time later I'll try to post my routines (I like to get things written down and it is all in my head really) and it would be great to hear how your organisational journeys are coming along.

hi, i've only just found this thread, and wandering if i can join in too please, i am a sahm, but my kids arent so little any more, i have twins that have just turned 14, both have special needs, so at times its like having toddlers, they need watching and entertaining most of the time, but dont sleep as much as they did when they were younger.
would love to have a tidy house and some kind of routine again, i suffer from depression myself, and often just caring for my sons tires me, but i want to make a start on getting the house and our lives in order
    thanks for reading
