  • Morning all!

Need to do my flyladying today.

Got up ay 0840! I need my sleep I am growing a baba ;)

Taking the kids to the cinema this afternoon. They want to see bedtime stories. They can take sweets from christmas & fill up an empty water bottle with juice.

Had a nsd yesterday but today need quite a few bits. Will write a list though.

Another NY resolution will be to meal plan so will try & sort that out. It's hard, as I am semi veggie (I now eat fish), dd & dh are fine eating wise but ds is a nightmare, he is so fussy. I try not to panda to him, but it's hard, he really doesn't like stuff. He's been like it since about 1 & he's now 6 1/2. Also dh can get home quite late so he eats seperatly. I see peoples menu planners & think, blimey, I'd love to be like that. But I will do something, cos at least if I have planeed then it should save money!

Hope Tilly pusskins is ok. I gace extra cuddles to my Boots last night. She dug her claws in my legs in appreciation...!

    Speak later

    Lisa x
  • I hung out loads of laundry on the line yesterday morning as it was sunny and breezy. I didn't bring it in and this morning I have looked out and it is frozen and covered in frost. I do feel like a complete idiot :o but was wondering if anyone knows what I should do? Leave it to defrost, or bring it in?

I'd leave it to defrost..... but thats me just being lazy ;)
You know your getting old when you
go to the pub sit outside
and admire the hanging basket
    Is officially 48% tight :D

Also to Mudgekin, am glad you feel supported by the people here, sometimes it is good to come on here for a rant or a chat and to speak to people who are not directly involved if you see what I mean. Hugs to you and your DH xx

    Morning all,
Not posted much lately, We've had DM & OH staying since Friday, they went home y/day. I tend to wait on her hand and foot and she loves it, although I felt exhausted by the time they left.

    I stripped and re-made 3 beds y/day, vacumed, polished and ironed 15 shirts.Made a chick curry and a turkey,ham and leek pie.

  • Hi Essex Girl

Hough is really shin of beef. Up here in freezing Scotland we have a dish called Potted Hough. Very very versatile and cheap and can be used in all sorts of way. It is delish on hot buttered toast and I also like to use a small dish if I am making stovies. (another leftover dish where there is a myriad of recipes)

  • Hi all
Im back! Have been busy with loads of things but I am going to add my few pennies worth again in 2009 - it needs a mans touch lol, One tip I am going to pass on,my wife and I have been getting some stamps each week from Morrisons - we only started in Sept and in the end we had £60 worth,it certainly helps towards the xmas bill, and shall be starting afresh this Sunday - if you can get £3 a week then thats a whopping £150 ish for the year. Also got 2 slow cookers for sons girlfriend and neice, they were both chuffed and have started using them already!!

  • Morning, all. Hope everyone is ok. Had a bit of a traumatic night last night. As I mentioned in another thread, my darling H2B blew out a candle last night, and it kind of exploded, going over his face and the curtains and cabinet. Luckily, he was wearing his glasses. It took me a long time to calm down. So, today I'll be picking bits of black-coloured wax from the curtains. If I get chance, I'll be doing some sewing. Only an omelette tonight (in change from the meal plan) and probably a drink later.

  • Morning All!
Frezing here. Had to scrape the car off to take DS to work. Going to my GP this morning. Still having a relapse, and now I've got a cold and cough too:o
This has been going on for four weeks now. Feeling really fed up. Never had one this long before.

OH s working on his computer, just done my budget for the month. Determined to pay off the debts this year. Not too bad considering , and it's on 0%:T
Still, got to get it paid this year. DS will be 19 and my child benefit, tax credit and maintenance stop:eek: £400 a month less coming in.:o
He's thinking of applying for a Uni place near his dad in Cumbria, so OH says don't worry about the money, you'll save that in food bills!:rotfl:

Anyway (((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))t those that need them
    Have a good day.
    I Believe in saving money!!!:T
