Thanks D1zzy-i think its that mum has always gone on about my weight in the past (i have never been officially over weight just um cuddly) made me cry on several occasions, she so image concious and for years would tell me that if id get plastic surgery on my lips and nose id be beautiul (something she denies she used to say now but my sisters back me up on this) anyway im trying to help her with her health issues. She has really high blood pressure which her weight is contributing to, i hear what you're saying about classes but if we didnt have a set thing to do and a routine to follow then we wouldnt do it.
She says she eats healthily and that she walks to work & back (1hr in total) and she has a physical job delivering post in an office so how is the weight creeping on?

Now my sympathy is with you...
You never know how the weight creeps on,but its always from eating more than you expend. For me focussing on the weight has never worked. I hear whay everyone says about "changing your life style" - so in a way I guess that's what I'm trying to do, but without cutting out all the stuff I like (bacon buttie adict) and doing stuff I don't like (exercising specifically to lose weight/get fit - thats what makes it boring). I know I will never stick to - thursday 7pm salsa/aerobics/gym if I don't enjoy it in its self, so its finding something to do that you enjoy which as a by-product makes you lose weight or get fitter.

Mind you it sounds as if yr mum gets loads of exercise and if she really does eat healthily, its always worth getting a thyroid blood test done.

Pay day and day off for me wooo woooooooo

Bit annoyed as Leeds bs cc site is down and i cant remember how much ive spent on the cashback card so dont know how much to transfer over.

So as soon as its up and running i'll know the totals.........

A work collegue has told me about a new bus service that runs from york-leeds non stop and only coasts £5 return, im currently spending £169/month on the train so i thought id try this out for a month and see how it goes. Thus i can put the extra £69 towars the savings.

Oh is cycling to edinbro just for the hell of it til mon so i'll be on my tod cue no spending of money as ive planty of food in as we went to tescos last night & spent £38 (bumped up by spare toiletries OH needed to take with him and special sanwich fillings grrrr)
