ha ha i know i can't help it now-my dad now wont pay to watch tv in the hosp so we're taking in our stash of dvds so he can watch it on his laptop.
To be honest i dont actually do a lot in my money savings quest, i come on the pc in the morning and do quidco, bingo & surveys and thats just about it really i probabally do less now as im not going out much and spending!Id come on the pc anyway in the morning as i get up so early!
Spent our clubcard deals on £10 cafe rouge vouchers (french onion soup for us sometime nomnom) and £20 on pizza expres which i think we'll use tonight after ive visited my dad so i dont have to cook tea.0 -

Morning
Still managed to spend £32 at pizza express even with the £20 tesco vouchers we spent far too much on booze and extras! Oh well needed the treat.
Plans for today are hairdressers, go to libarary to get military books out for dad to stop him getting bored, visit dad then ballroom blitz this house. There's a really funny smell coming from somewhere which we can't locate so will have to unearth everything!
Haven't spent all of my £50/wk that ive allocated myself this week and we've saved on the food spends so ive transfered £63.89 to the savings account so the grand total now is £4444 huuuragggghhhhh.0 -
Hi cocalls
Agree with you neding a treat you have had quite a week and sometimes you just need to let your hair down.
Well done with the savings your doing fantastic.0 -
cheers miemie
So ballroom blitz didnt happen as i was out of the house from 10.30am til 9pm so too shattered to do anything.I was at the hairdressers for 3.5 sodding hrs and spent £96 OMG i cant belive i spend so much but i did try it myself the other month with disasterous concequences! I'll go again in 8 weeks and it'll be less as i'm having a T section rather than half head and i'll get my mum to trim it!
It's my b'day on thurs and OH has totally run out of money(you may remember that he hasnt put any dosh in the savings for a few months) so borrowed £20 to go out on thurs i asked him if he's run out of money as he's bought me a nice present he said he hadn't. So unless he's going to borrow some money from mates i don't think i'll be getting anything! (I wont let him have a CC)0 -

Did quite make it to whitby we were on the A64 going there and the queues were horrific so we turned around and came back! Went to the park instead and had a bit of a kick about and ate ice cream, the cess pit has been tidied slightly (well at least the washing up's been done)Have a friend round for tea so making veggie thai green curry)using all the veggies before they go off!)
Im in the process of playing TAB bingo to use up the free scratchcard money-came on here as need a distraction!
Finally got round to asking to put money in paypal to get my £5.28 back said i have to verify my bank acc (something they've been asking me to do for yrs) which sounds a bit cumbersome but at least its done for nxt time.
good news re my dad he's having a stent put in on tues and should be out weds hurrah!0
