As you can tell im feeling a little annoyed today-i think its the thought that i may not be able to complete this challenge-as a lot rests on getting the £72 back from a friend who is on benefits so probabally cant pay it back by then.
I know there's been over 8000 views to this diary so if you lurkers can send some positive vibes right now im needing them!! cheers

Hi cocalls
Can't believe he forgot the train ticket, men what they like.
Now i'm sending you lots of positive vibes - YOU CAN DO IT - YOU WILL DO IT.
Are you with any other survey sites apart from ciao, lightspeed, valued opinions and global test market are quite good and i'm also with Onepoll.

cheers miemie im also with valued opinions but i get rather peeved with them all as they seem to ask loads of ques and then tell you you're not what they're looking for i think i'll knock them on the head to be honest0

Meeting my mum in an hr or so in town for a drink while im waiting and trying to ignore the housework that needs doing I thought id write out our meal plan for the next two weeks
Mon- Stir fry w/ rice
Tues- tomato sauce w/ sausage & Pasta
Weds-stew
Thurs- stew & yorkshires
Fri-Roast chicken & veg
Sat-chicken pie & veg
Sunday-dinner at OHs parents
Mon- steak n savoury rice
Tues-Fish pie & peas
Weds-Sausage and mash
Thurs-tomato sauce w/ sausage & Pasta
Fri- egg chips and beans
Not v inspiring but it’s sustenance. Based on what we have got in, this is what I need to buy;
Milkx3
Bread x 2
Butter
12 Eggs
Parsley
Frozen peppers
Onions
Potatoes
Pasta
Carrots
Cabbage
Peas
Cheese
Fruit
Cereal
Stuffing
Fruit juice
To fill up I’ll make cake & biscuits and for lunches we’ll have cheese savoury, humous (have a can of chick peas)or egg mayo sandwiches or left overs.
If I go tonight for cheapo stuff I reckon I can get that for £15 so I have £10 gift voucher so hopefully we can do it for £5 and thus can add £85 to the savings.0 -

OOhh im feeling those postive vibes many thanks
Its going to be a tough month but i think i can do it esp with the reduced food budget-didnt have time to go to tescos as went to bettys with my mum after we went for a drink as we ended up with a bottle between us (cheap deal buy 2 glasses get the rest of the bottle free) so was feeling a bit squiffy as it was just after lunch so had a coffee in bettys to feel better so £8 spent in all!
So will go to tescos tomorrow when Oh gets back.0 -
Still not been to Tescos will have to go tonight.
£3 came through from green metropolis so ive transfered £10 to the savings as ive allowed myself £50 spends this week and ive only spent £8 and i cant see me spending it all by fri thus the total is £4380.11 soo close yet still so far.
littlewoods bingo have finally checked my id so i've withdrawn £10.30 from there, will await that hitting my account. Caio have finally paid my £5.28 but into a paypal account and when i tried to withdraw it it said it had to be over £6 booooo not sure what to do with that now.
Im secduled to get £2.18 from quidco for the end of may.
So its all slowly adding up.0 -
Do you do Lightspeed surveys? You can cash them in for money into your Paypal as soon as you get 115 points (usually 1 or 2 surveys) which would then take you over £6 so you can withdraw. Either that or sell something on Ebay (buyer uses Paypal).“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

tiff you beat me to it i was going to suggest ebay, lightspeed are good and i always request points into paypal, i think you can sign up through pigsback at the moment and get piggy points.0

You could probably transfer in £1 from your bank and then withdraw the lot, didnt think of that first time round.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
