Best Wishes to your Dad, and to your mum and your family, not forgetting to you too!!
I want to congratulate you on what you've achieved since the beginning of the year, you've done so well, but take a break from the saving for the next week or two and concentrate on your family. If it takes another month to get to the magic figure you're looking for- then so be it!!! You've still done a fantastic job!0 -
thanks simstwins that brought a tear to my eye-just got back from tescos took my mum as needed to get dad pjs, grapes, flowers, ribena all the usual extras you need in hosp and we did both our big shop mine came to £33 over what i wanted to pay but not too bad.
With regards to taking a break well the car boot sale deffo wont go ahead, so it may take another month to get to the target so be it.0 -

Hoping for a speedy recovery for your dad, I'd put the savings challenge on a temporary hold, allow a time out, your mum will likely need a lot of support at this timeHope for the best.....Plan for the worst!
