Went to see my aunt at the week end and she's given me some books she no longer wanted so i've popped them on green metropolis and my mum was clearing out her wardrobe and has given me a load of clothes some of them good makes so we have a shop her that sells them for you and gives you a comission so think i'll try that as i'll proberbally get more than ebay.

Wow Cocalls your amazing, well done with all your hard work, i've decided that now i have paid off my debts i must start saving especially with the economy being so bad, need to go through our outgoings and see where we can save/cutback etc. You have given me lots of inspiration just need to get the hubby and kids on board think thats going to be the hardest part.

um i see what you mean and writing it down like that makes perfect sense but i think that'll leave us really short each month.

We have a man from B&Q coming round to talk bathrooms our bath & loo (the top bit dont worry!) leaks so we desperatly need a new suite how much it's going to cost is anyone's guess but it's my bday nxt month im thinking of asking for B&Q vouchers from everyone!

ok B&Q man has quoted £2500 which im thinking is pretty reasonable, the shiney new Leeds bs card (which is actually barcleys in disguise-and there was me thinking i was helping out a local company!) has 0% on purchases for 9 months mmmmm that could be the nxt challenge after this one to pay that off and id have a shiney new bathroom and dont have to sidestep the slugs and woodlice who love the dampness and wont have tuched my savings ...mmm things to mull over.

cocalls, just a comment, I've not been enamoured with B&Q.

I can only speak from my one expereince (a new kitchen for my mum) but B&Q were'nt particularly good at their job (wrong / missing pieces), mum had two fitters; first was not particularly good, second much better.

Do you know anyone in the trade or word of mouth recommendations? It might be worth you getting a quote from a local trades man (might save you some money).

now cloud_dog im all up for buying the cheapest bathroom suite we can find on ebay and then getting a local bathroom fitter to come & do it but Oh cant be arsd w/ all the hassle! (But i might mention what you say re their fitting quality-OH hates hassle-to him getting vouchers out at the till is hassle-you see my point) i wanted to get B&Q in to see what their highest figure would be and then see if we can find cheaper however OH is trying to presuade me that this is a good deal mmm something to ponder
